  Don’t visit Walvis Bay without doing the Sandwich Bay adventure. And I can’t imagine anyone does it better than this one. Our guide (Andre) was exceptional. Fun (a little crazy in a good way!), an excellent driver (very important on this one!), and knowledgeable. The scenery of the Namib desert is breathtaking and he knew all the “special” spots to showcase it. A few surprises along the way….but I’ll leave it at that (or they wouldn’t be surprises!). Highly recommended!

  Michael is a super guide , truly enjoying sharing his deep knowledge of the environment, safe driver and absolutely keen to accommodate for a superb customer experience , eg not counting his time to allow us to get proper sight seeing despite some initial midst in the morning We really had amazing time with him I highly recommend booking a tour with him and his partner

  We had a great time on the Sandwich Harbor tour, Beautiful experience the tour guides were amazing with the vehicles on the Sand Dunes We also were served with lunch and wine on the dunes.

• You can't miss it while in Walbis Bay

  It is a fabulous experience, the organization A 10, we were picked up at the port, and no problem with the time due to immigration issues from the country. Driver Roger a super person, was giving us explanations during the excursion and they tried so that we could see the maximum fauna in the country.

  Very nice day perfectly organized. On the way, on the beach along the ocean. Then walk in the dunes. The landscapes are wonderful and the colors striking. Mickael is a very good driver, careful and the vehicle is very powerful. The snack is hearty and the local specialties, delicious, are homemade. Throughout the tour we saw pelicans, pink flamingos full of seagulls and sea lions, in the desert we saw oryx and even a pretty sand gecko. We ended up with the salt pans in incredible colors. Thanks to Mickael and his team for a wonderful day. We were only three cars for 9 passengers in all and that too was really nice. We were able to make many photo stops. I highly recommend this tour with MC Tours

  Great day, Kate. Mickael picked us up from the boat in a beautiful 4x4, very clean. As soon as we left we saw pelicans and pink flamingos. Then at low tide we headed towards the dunes along the sea. It was wonderful. There were many seagulls and sea lions. Walking in the dunes is magical. Mickael is a good driver. We stopped often to take pictures. The snack was very good, with local specialties, and very hearty. We were quietly settled in the middle of the dunes with an incredible view. We also saw Oryx, jackals. And even a fascinating sand gecko. We had an extraordinary day thanks to Mickael. I highly recommend.

  Loved every minute of this tour! The dunes are spectacular set against the Atlantic Ocean; we saw seals & whales frolicking close by the beach. Andres love of this area is infectious & we were very well looked after, including a delicious lunch with an unbeatable view. Highly recommend.

  Booked directly with Chantel which was a wonderful experience, clear and easy. Great communication all through but especially on the day when there were delays on traffic getting through security at the port to collect us. Upon arrival the 4x4 was clearly displaying our names so we had no concerns we were joining the correct excursion. Benni was our driver and a joy to spend the day with - he was so passionate about his country and all the wildlife we were seeing. The Sand dunes were thrilling and totally stunning. We also had a buffet lunch with bubbles whilst in the dunes which was fabulous. Would highly recommend this tour and company - in fact we will book to do again on next year's visit here.

  

  

  

  

  

• Thrilling 4-Wheel Drive Adventure!

  This is an incredible, especially if you are visiting on a cruise ship! For people of all ages and physical mobility since most of the time you are riding in a vehicle. The scenery is impressive, the ride up and down the dunes is thrilling and the lunch buffet was amazing! Our driver/guide, Leon, was incredibly knowledgeable of the area, the dunes, animals and birds, so the ride was not only fun, it was informative. Less than a half-hour from the port to the sands and seaside. In addition to lunch, MC Tours offers water, soda and beer at the occasional photo stops on the dunes. If you are looking for an exceptional experience without the cruise ship excursion markup, this is one you should strongly consider!
