This is the only official account of the science museum Experimentorium in Tbilisi. The ticket includes an excursion to the museum and experiments in the lab. The museum offers around 70 exhibits that demonstrate the laws of physics. All of the exhibits in Experimentorium are interactive so that future physicists can touch and test in order to get a basic grasp of the field of science. Measure the power of a scream, sit on nails, lift a friend into the air, hold lightning in your hand, or draw in the sand. The visitors can take part in experiments of chemistry as well.

You will visit the museum, where it is possible to interact with about 70 exhibits, demonstrating the laws of physics. You will have a chance to take part in chemical experiments as well. The museum provides the program in English or Russian. You must call the museum and ask the administrator for EN or RU language guides.

Disappointing visit despite exciting concept

3.00The Experimentarium – Museum of Entertaining Science in Tbilisi has a great idea and interesting interactive experiments, but our visit was clouded by unfriendly staff and lack of communication. At the reception, the staff seemed annoyed and unfriendly. They talked in Georgian before naming the entrance fee of 10 Lari per person. It felt more like we were interrupting. Signage is in Georgian, Russian and English, but no English was spoken in the museum itself. The staff were not motivated and did not offer support. We accidentally sat down in a show and were then sent away very rudely. At the till, they just said we had an hour, without further explanation. With only a few other visitors and no English-speaking guide, the stay was disappointing for us. Those who speak Georgian or Russian will surely enjoy the museum more. The concept is exciting, but the staff and communication should be improved to allow international guests a better visit.

2.00I ordered a tour on booking.com and arrived, they did not accept it and I was told it’s a scam. Only buy tickets in the place

5.00We visited with our two kids (ages 9 and 13) for my son’s birthday activity, and he had an amazing time exploring all the fun activities. The highlight of our visit was definitely the nitrogen show, where the kids got to participate and had a blast. The staff was friendly, and our guide, who explained all the activities to us in English, made the experience even more enjoyable.

5.00This is an amazing place! The excursion is a tour by a guide who patiently science terms to kids. It is fun and interactive. Helen was our tour guide and she was very patient with our 5 year old twins. She spoke clear English and was so kind.
