We visited two rainforests(Quinault, Maple Glade) and walked along the trail and had lunch picnic at Kalaloch with a wonderful view! I also loved Ruby Beach filled with many drifted logs and Lake Crescent reminded me of the past when I was in Switzerland. For a long day, Marc took care of everybody with kindness. He prepared water, sparkling water, snacks, lunch sandwiches, and battery charges in a van. He was also a good photographer for me who was a solo traveler. When we walked along the trails, he gave information about where we stopped by. I want to say a big thank you to him! Thanks to him, I could cross off my bucket list. I really wanted to go to the rainforest before I went to Seattle from Korea for my vacation. I was really happy that I walked along the forest trail because I didn’t want to see just the lakeside drive. The tour of yesterday will be remembered forever in my life. I hope many visitors who are in Seattle will join this tour.

Marc was a fantastic guide and was so prepared we almost wanted to call him "Mom". From lunch, snacks, phone chargers for many, he thought of everything. We covered a lot of ground in one day! Be prepared for lots of driving, but the views/hikes are worth it!

I chose this tour because when browsing Olympic National Park🏞️ tours on Viator, I noticed that most of them focused on Hurricane Ridge and other classic stops. But what I really wanted to see was the rainforest — to me, that’s the essence of Olympic! Marc’s tour was the only one that included both Quinault Rain Forest and Hoh Rain Forest, so I signed up — and the experience turned out to be beyond incredible! First of all, I have to give huge credit to Marc. He is part botanist, part super-guide, part big brother (see photo 1). During the rainforest hike he pointed out fascinating plants, shared stories about Twilight filming spots, helped us take photos, and made the whole day feel like a mix of adventure, learning, and fun. From rainforests to lakes to the coastline — and even a night ferry ride with city views — Marc made sure we saw the very best of Olympic. Secondly, the trip was both rich and flexible. Because it was a small, private-style group, we had the freedom to adjust plans. For example, after exploring Quinault Rain Forest, we felt we didn’t need to wait in long lines for Hoh Rain Forest. Marc immediately suggested a hidden gem instead — a crystal-clear spring that looked like something out of a fairytale (see photo 2). Alongside famous spots like Lake Crescent and Ruby Beach, he also took us to a few off-the-beaten-path locations that were just as magical (no spoilers here — see photos!). Lastly, I want to thank my fellow travelers. A great trip depends not only on the guide but also the group, and I was lucky to share this experience with three amazing ladies. With their warmth, energy, and humor, the four of us made this small-group journey unforgettable. In short: if you find yourself in Seattle with an extra day, don’t miss Marc’s Olympic National Park tour. And if you have more time, I’d absolutely recommend joining his other tours, like Mount Rainier. This was one of the most memorable travel days I’ve ever had — thank you, Marc!
