Ha'ena State Park
Ha'ena State Park is essentially the end of the road as you drive around the north shore of Kauai. The three most popular things to see and do at the end of the Kuhio Highway is to visit Ke'e Beach, or Tunnels Beach which is also called Ha'ena Beach Park, and to walk the Kalalau Trail. This is also the trailhead for overnight hikers and campers heading to the Na Pali Coast. Due to the extremely limited parking availability, you must either reserve a parking space or use the shuttle service to access the park.

5.00The audio tour with Bob was great! I highly recommend it. The directions were very accurate and timely as we traveled along. He even gave you info on each spot along the way. He was easy to listen too and quite entertaining. We were saying “listen to what Bob says”. We are going to check into this in other areas! We didn’t get lost at all!

5.00Enjoyed the commentary throughout the island. Learned some history and visited places we wouldn’t have if not for the guide. Suggest adding more history, interesting tidbits or Hawaiian music in silent gaps between narratives.

5.00The tour was very informative with lots of stories about the history of Kauai. Lots of facts about the volcanoes and how the islands were formed. The directions were fairly accurate although a couple of times when he would tell us about a particular turn coming up, it was when we were almost at the turn so a little more advance. Warning would’ve been nice, but overall the tour was well worth what we paid for it
