Ha'ena State Park

Ha'ena State Park is essentially the end of the road as you drive around the north shore of Kauai. The three most popular things to see and do at the end of the Kuhio Highway is to visit Ke'e Beach, or Tunnels Beach which is also called Ha'ena Beach Park, and to walk the Kalalau Trail. This is also the trailhead for overnight hikers and campers heading to the Na Pali Coast. Due to the extremely limited parking availability, you must either reserve a parking space or use the shuttle service to access the park.

I was a little skeptical of how this would go and am happy to report this was an awesome experience. I am not a tech person so it took a minute for me to get things downloaded and going. Worked great and we used it without difficulty as we toured the island of Kauai. Would do this again for sure. It is a lot less expensive than a group tour that essentially shows you the same sights. Provided great narratives and back stories. We were able to pick and choose our stopping points and time we spent at each.

Having a personal guide along on the ride around Kauai was a great way to see and hear about the island's attractions and get some local recommendations as well as its history and culture. The tour offers different route options and driving directions so you can see as much as you want.

This is much more than a navigational helper. Whiles it’s primary purpose is to ensure you navigate to the most interesting points and learn something about them, it also provides great historical information about the area.

It was very informative and gave us updates about what sites were around the corner. It also gave directions and adapted to our routes we chose to go to. Amazing. I will use it again for future trips.

Downloaded the app and played the tour, it was spot on. My family and I enjoyed the narration and learning about the history of Kauai. I would definitely use the app for other trips.
