Ha'ena State Park
Ha'ena State Park is essentially the end of the road as you drive around the north shore of Kauai. The three most popular things to see and do at the end of the Kuhio Highway is to visit Ke'e Beach, or Tunnels Beach which is also called Ha'ena Beach Park, and to walk the Kalalau Trail. This is also the trailhead for overnight hikers and campers heading to the Na Pali Coast. Due to the extremely limited parking availability, you must either reserve a parking space or use the shuttle service to access the park.

5.00Best money I spent in Kauai. We explored the island, learned where all the good spots were and enjoyed a history lesson in between each stop. This was my first guidealong purchase and I will now buy one for EVERY trip! Freedom to explore on your own with a local expert in your pocket!

5.00A terrific product. It was like having a private tour guide with us all week. The content was good--some history, out of the way spots to visit, and pointers for getting around. Commentary is keyed to locations based on your phone GPS, and was always accurate. Best of all, when there was a stretch with nothing special, the commentary stopped.

5.00We all like the fact that the recording gives options and changes to the itinerary. Also nice that it can be replayed and used over several days, or whatever you need. Stopped at places that I'd never been on previous trips!

5.00I was a little skeptical of how this would go and am happy to report this was an awesome experience. I am not a tech person so it took a minute for me to get things downloaded and going. Worked great and we used it without difficulty as we toured the island of Kauai. Would do this again for sure. It is a lot less expensive than a group tour that essentially shows you the same sights. Provided great narratives and back stories. We were able to pick and choose our stopping points and time we spent at each.
