  We did an overnight self guided tour and had the best time. The Kanu Kapers guys were super helpful and friendly and gave great route instructions and tips. We even received some additional free gear because there was a thunderstorm coming that night. Kanu Kapers took good care of us by texting us weather updates and we had no problems with anything. Great service and an unforgettable kayaking adventure!

  An amazing 3 days for the whole family including teenagers and grandparents. Kanu Kapers staff were so friendly and helpful with keeping me updated and rebooking when it had to be cancelled the first attempt and answering all my questions in the lead up to the trip. Highly recommend getting the camp package - so convenient to have it all provided and ready to go. July was a great time to go - quiet, not too hot paddling during the day and nice and crisp enough to snuggle in sleeping bags at night. The scenery was stunning and loved the seclusion of the campsite.

  Amazing! We went in mid June and had perfect conditions. Company was extremely flexible, we had our trip postponed multiple times due to weather with no issues at all in terms of rebooking. Grew up on the Sunshine Coast but had never been through the everglades, highly worthwhile.

  Absolutely amazing day today. Lived here for 7 years and have only just found this little piece of paradise. The instructor was awesome gave a super detailed description of what to expect and how to navigate the rivers. Would recommend for anyone and everyone. Well worth the price.

  

  

  

  

• A highlight of our trip to Noosa

  We have just returned from a brilliant day kayaking on the Noosa Everglades with Kanu Kapers. We opted for the self-guided tour which gave us the opportunity to relax, have our own space and enjoy the solitude of the area. This was a highlight of our time in Noosa and we would highly recommend it. Josh collected us on time from our hotel and took us to the departure point where we met Liesel, who gave us an excellent briefing on the route as well as the key landmarks to look out for on the way. She did a great job of making us feel confident for the day ahead. Josh and Liesel were both so friendly and helpful. We had no prior kayaking experiencing but were able to fully complete the route with some time to spare, having stopped for a snack at the ranger’s station and then again for a half hour lunch break. Kayaking across the lake at the beginning and end of the route takes a bit of patience and determination but we really enjoyed the element of challenge and feel it is do-able by anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. As soon as you reach the river, paddling becomes much easier so you get a bit of a break that way. You need to remember to bring all your food, water, sunscreen and a change of clothes as you will definitely get a bit soggy if the lake is choppy.

  My husband and I enjoyed our paddle up the narrows of the Noosa River to Harry’s camp. We loved the dense varied vegetation. We saw some colourful Kingfishers, and some water birds (Darters) and a goanna. We stopped to look at the information boards at the old Rangers station. We had great weather, not much wind so paddling was good heading back across the lake.

  An amazing journey through the Noosa Everglades - one of just two Everglades in the whole world! The brief and introduction to kayaking was clear and to the point from our guide and soon we were off in our kayak to explore at our own will! Note this is a strenuous activity so be prepared to kayak for the full 4-5 hour slot depending on how far you want to get! An incredible experience and one of our highlights of the trip!

  Amazing day out with Kanu Kapers. We did the self guided tour and saw the beautiful Noosa Everglades up close. Instruction and briefing was thorough and very well done, equipment is good (Sea to Summit!) and the expedition kayaks were in great condition and easy to handle. Highly recommend!

  We had a positive, fun and enjoyable experience doing the kayaking in the Everglades. Kim was very friendly, and has a lovely chatty personality. She collected us from our hostel in the morning and drove us to the recreational area. Kelly & Kim were experts at their job, and they explained what we had to do and all the necessary details. Overall, we had the best time and would highly recommend doing this activity if you’re visiting Noosa!! 😊

  We had an amazing experience at Kanu Kapers, Kym collected us from our hostel and dropped us back to the door once we were finished. She was so smiley and helpful the whole way through. The kayak itself is so beautiful, you are provided with a dry bag and an Eski which are both very handy! Everyone working there was so lovely and made our experience very enjoyable
