The Jolly Pirate cruise isn't just an excursion; it's the ultimate Aruban adventure and the definitive highlight of our entire vacation. From the moment we boarded this classic pirate ship, the energy was electric—it’s pure fun and sun, cranked up to 11. This flawlessly executed trip is all down to the phenomenal crew. Captain Edwin is not only a fantastic leader, expertly navigating us to hidden snorkeling gems, but he's also a great DJ, spinning awesome music on his iPad(on his iPad) that kept the deck buzzing! And then there's MAX (or Maxwell), the legendary First Mate. Max is a human energy drink—a total blast who ensured everyone was laughing and engaged. He's seriously attentive, making special moments happen for our family. Here is a breakdown of the epic adventures we had: • Thrilling Snorkeling: We dove into the crystal-clear waters at multiple breathtaking spots, getting up close and personal with vibrant fish and coral reefs. Pure underwater beauty! • The Iconic Rope Swing: The ultimate adrenaline rush! My daughter and Max shared an unforgettable, hilarious moment, flipping off the rope swing with my daughter piggyback on first MAX’s back, into the turquoise ocean. • Core memory fuel, guaranteed. • Max spotted and showed my two sons, sitting up at the bow, a majestic sea turtle swimming right by the ship. An unforgettable connection with nature! • Fueling the adventure was a seriously satisfying meal. Lunch was a fantastic barbecue spread—tender chicken and ribs, plus a fresh pasta salad and delicious fresh melon. It hit the spot after a morning of high-seas fun! If you want an impeccably run, high-energy, and genuinely adventurous day on the Aruban waters, book the Jolly Pirate immediately. Edwin, Max, and the whole crew do a tremendous job and deliver an experience that’s worth every penny. Five stars—we are counting the days until we sail with them again!

  We had such an amazing time on the Jolly Pirate! It was the perfect adventure for both kids and adults — truly something for everyone. Between the snorkeling, the rope swings, the great food, and just cruising along the ocean, the entire experience was unforgettable. The crew kept the energy high and made sure everyone was having fun from start to finish. The kids were obsessed with the rope swings, and the snorkeling spots were absolutely beautiful. The adults had just as much fun relaxing, enjoying the views, and soaking in the whole vibe. An incredible day on the water — highly recommend the Jolly Pirate for families, groups, or anyone looking for a memorable Aruba excursion!

  Great experience! Had a lot of fun. California Lighthouse from the Sea was great though under maintenance right now. The lunch was very good. The drinks hit the spot. Snorkeling spots were good. Swam with 2 sea turtles was definitely the highlight for me. So cute! The plank and rope swing was very entertaining. The pirate ship is very nice and a big Ole hit for the kiddos! The staff were all so kind and helpful at all times. Great time had by all.

  AWSOME excursion! I was on board with my husband, had a lot of fun. Took us to three different snorkel locations, each location is around 20 minutes more or less. It’s enough time to enjoy the water and see everything you need to. The food was great in my opinion, the bbq was amazing and a good amount of food, which I feel is fair. I had a great time and would definitely recommend you do this excursion! It’s something different when coming to Aruba, and it’s all about the experience!

  The Jolly Pirate Sail, Snorkel, Swim, and Swing was awesome!! My wife and I had an absolute blast!! The crew were so friendly and helpful, and really cared about us having a great time!! We saw a WWII wreck, turtles, and beautiful fish. Swinging and jumping from the ship was a lot of fun!! The drinks and food were delicious!! I would definitely do this tour again!!

  From start to finish, the entire experience was filled with great energy, beautiful sights, and nonstop fun. Johnny, Oscar, and the rest of the crew were phenomenal. Their personalities, humor, and genuine passion for what they do created an atmosphere that was both relaxed and exciting. They kept everyone smiling, made the instructions clear and easy, and ensured that every guest—kids and adults—felt safe, confident, and included. The snorkeling spots were stunning, the water was crystal clear, and the marine life was incredible to see up close. And of course, the famous rope swing was a huge hit! Whether you’re a daredevil or a little hesitant, the crew cheers you on like family. Between the music, the views, and the crew’s amazing hospitality, the Jolly Pirate delivered an experience we’ll be talking about for years. One note - the drinks are really sweet and probably purposeful not strong. If you’re visiting Aruba, don’t miss this tour. Johnny, Oscar, and the entire team make it truly unforgettable.

  Captain Ron, Johnny, Glen and crew were THE best! We were looking to do a snorkel excursion. After reading reviews we decided on the Jolly Pirates & we’re happy we did. They were very attentive to making sure everyone was safe the whole trip. It was family friendly adventure and the crew were so good with my girls… one even found treasure for my youngest 😉 They took us to a shipwreck and two other places to snorkel. We saw a bunch of sea life including sea turtles!! My oldest loved the rope swing, they give you a ton of food for lunch, open bar (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and tons of fun!
