My wife and i have been in many tour groups all over the world and on a couple of occasions, i believed that i had the best guide possible. On our latest tour of the seven churches, however, Emre Dașdemir showed us that there is a whole new level to the profession that i had been unaware of. To use cliches such as, "above and beyond", "exceeded expectations", and"second to none", though true, feel inadequate when describing the guide service recieved in this case from Emre. His knowledge of the history of the area and the seven churches, in particular, rivals that of the most educated scholar. Providing detail and answering any questions posed as though he has been studying that thing specifically knowing it would be asked of him. He will be honest with you even when the truth is less exciting or runs contrary to popular belief. He was always willing to alter, rearrange, or cancel any aspect of the tour of the group decided that they wanted to do so. When such a decision saved the tour company money, he reimbursed the funds without being asked to do so. These things were eclipsed only by his concern for the safety, well being, and happiness of the group. He talked with whomever was needed to ensure the experience was as safe, educational, and convenient as possible, even haggling down prices on our behalf when the vendor refused to do so. Halfway through the tour, it actually felt as though we were traveling with a well educated family member. You can book a tour with someone else as your guide and it may very well end up being an awesome experience, but it will never be Emre Dașdemir awesome.

An insightful tour! Emre was a great guide who brought us to the various sites and explained both the historical and biblical significance. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. While the tour was slightly pricey and did not include one of the churches (Smyrna), we enjoyed the skip-the-line tickets, hotel stays, food, and especially the personal interaction with the guide that allowed us to ask questions while we walked on the very ground of the ancient cities.

We are so glad to find this 7 church tour that was not offered in most Turkey tours. There were only my wife and I, so it was like a private tour. Tez is the amazing guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate to make sure all our needs were met. Our visit to House of Virgin Mary happened to land on Sunday, Tez was so thoughtful to arrange the travel plan, so we could attend the service right at house of Virgin Mary. I would recommend this tour to anyone who likes to visit 7 churches.

Our tour guide Melih made the trip very memorable since he helped us to understand the historical context of the locations of the 7 churches in Revelation. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and made the experience very unique and educational. The tour was very organized and the hotels were nice, not to mention the food. Great that Pamukkale was also included in the tour! Overall great experience.

This is an absolutely fabulous tour. Our guide, Kerem Ozbas, was terrific, very knowledgeable and personable. My friend and I were the only ones on this tour and Kerem made sure we got to see and do everything we wanted to. Kerem obviously has spent a lot of time in researching the history of the churches so we could not have asked for a better guide!
