Join us at Gray Line for a fantastic experience in our guided city tour of Sharjah which is also known as the Pearl of the Gulf. Among the many landmarks located in Sharjah is the King Faisal Mosque, which is one of the largest mosques in the Emirates region, where you will be able to experience the essence of Emirati culture and listen to rich historical anecdotes of the city. Next, travel back with us to the year 1820, as we visit the Fort of Sharjah, which was the former home of the ruling family, and learn about the customs and traditions that are deeply routed in the Emirati culture. Lastly, continue to the Islamic Civilization Museum, and have a chance to wander the enchanting Souk Al Arsa. You will also have a chance to visit the captivating souk al Markazi, which is a veritable treasure trove of carpets, jewelery, and intricate handicrafts, before ending the excursion. The tour will end up in the Dubai Mall.

5.00Sharjah is a beautiful city. We visited many places including the museum and a shopping mall. Our tour guide and the driver did a fantastic job. The tour guide was very knowledgable and explained the places we visited in details. Thank you both!

3.00Unfortunately the weather was atrocious, so activities listed as included weren’t open. A substitute was found but the conditions were very difficult, verging on dangerous, and in my opinion, should have been proactively cancelled by the operator instead of waiting to see if customers would cancel themselves (thereby losing their money paid). If schools and museum venues were cancelled for the day, surely the tour operator also has a duty of care to its staff and customers to avoid any risk. The onboard refrigerator was stocked with bottled water but that wasn’t offered to passengers as it had been on a previous tour. And finally, not for the first time, my preferred meeting point was listed as an option but I was later told it was outside the pick-up zone and so I incurred a taxi fee to travel to another location. The driver and guide were helpful in difficult conditions but that isn’t enough for me to recommend this operator.

3.00The communication from pick up point was very poor. We were given the silent treatment. We had to finally ask the guide what was happening then he abruptly spoke to us. Not professional at all
