Our guide, Andrei, was so knowledgeable and loved history that he made this such a fun tour! If you’re interested in the history of Romania, this tour is for you.

What an excellent day! I very much enjoyed the sites and interpretation provided both at the locations as well as while driving between destinations. Joseph was very organised when booking this tour - he was able to reply to my initial enquiry within 2hrs and confirmed the tour and pickup/drop off locations easily. Joseph was very knowledgeable, able to answer all our questions and also provided insight into general Romanian history and life from his own personal experiences. Lunch was a total highlight of this trip for me - everything was homemade or homegrown including cheese, salami, salads, traditional Romanian soup and a main dish, it was all very impressive! Also greatly enjoyed the opportunity to sample homemade plum spirits and small batch wine. Joseph was happy to tailor the day to suit our requests and happily made additional stops for photos and extra attractions. I cannot thank him enough for making my last day in Romania so wonderful and informative.
