Driver`s license is mandatory for drivers and remember that this is a tour to enjoy the landscapes, not a rally competition.
You can have a two seater buggy or a 4 seater, depending on the number of people on your reservation.

This parish located on the north coast of São Miguel island is where we start and end the tour. After starting our tour on paved roads, we will ride along the seafront of and explore dirt roads in this area.
This is a mountain with an altitude of 845 meters. The breathtaking view is very similar to “Miradouro da Boca do Inferno” but from a higher perspective (accessible with the quads) and even more magnificent due to its altitude. From here you can see Lagoa Rasa, Lagoa de Santiago, Lagoa Verde, Lagoa Azul and a view to the whole crater of Sete Cidades dormant volcano. If weather is good, this one of the high lights of the tour, where we can see almost the whole island from the top.

5.00I had been in the same place 2 years ago, but this time manage to see the landscapes from places where normally people cannot go, due the paths required. Also the guide is very friendly and provides very useful information. Lastly if you like adrenaline and rallying this is GREAT!

5.00We have done a lot of tours in a lot of places. This one was the best. The trip was well run and our host focused on the group’s safety, so that we were able to enjoy a great 3-4 hour ride and fantastic views in places where we would have had to hike through rough terrain. Weather frequently changed, creating different views from one minute to the next. From above after traveling up a mud covered farm trail we saw Lagoa das Sete Cidades, twin blue and green crater lakes covered in mist and fog. Within a few seconds the clouds lifted showing the distinct colors and the small village below on the edge of the lakes. You will want to move there. After the trip we visited a nearby fishing village for off-the-boat fresh seafood. A delightful day trip and great tour company. If you travel to Sao Miguel and Ponta Delgada make sure to book this tour!

5.00If you're visiting Ponta Delgada on São Miguel Island in the Azores, there is only one trip you want to take: go with Filipe right from his place on the North Coast up to the Sete Cidades volcanic crater. Filipe is an amazing guide and was accommodating to our schedule. He showed us the sights of his beloved Ponto Delgada, taking us to the caldera, then for café com leite in the little village of Sete Cidades, then descending back down to the North Coast. The buggies were a blast to drive and had amazing climbing power. This was one of my favorite shore excursions ever! A little advice on getting to Filipe's place: Either call for a taxi, or else walk to the City Center and pick one up there. It should be about 15 euros. This part was not explained well beforehand. But it is about a 20-minute ride from Portas do Mar to the Filipe's residential base camp in the North Coast. Also, dress warmly! It is quite cool and windy at altitude.

5.00I recently took a buggy ride and can only say that it was an amazing experience! From the first minute showed professionalism, sympathy and total attention to safety. The buggies were comfortable and in excellent condition, which made the whole adventure even more fun. The route was spectacular — full of beautiful landscapes, exciting trails and perfect moments to take pictures. Adrenaline has always been at the right point, never ceasing to be a safe and well-organized activity. I recommend this tour.

5.00Our tour guide was excellent. Provided a lot of great information at our stops and ensured the group stayed safe and together throughout. As the passenger, I was able to see a lot of great views on the drive between stops, but even the driver is able to see the beautiful landscape. It is a little messy with the muddy/wet roads, so dress accordingly!
