At the start of the tour, we provide an overview of the geological formations that have shaped Silfra’s existence, followed by a comprehensive explanation of Drysuits snorkeling.
We then enjoy the snorkeling expedition into the world’s clearest waters, guided by a personal guide for approximately 25-30 minutes and create a memory for a lifetime.
Following the unique experience, we invite you to unwind with a warm beverage of hot chocolate, accompanied by snacks and a brief chat.

5.00Overall a great experience. The drysuit is warm and comfortable and we did not feel cold at all. Hedinn was helpful and friendly. He made sure everyone has photos taken to show their friends and family.

5.00Doing snorkeling with diving island, was the best experiences I have had, the equipment is top quality, the host is very good person, explains everything clearly and patiently, the gloves with which the account are unique!, keep you warm and best of all do not get wet, the service is excellent and highly recommended. If I could put more than 5 stars on it I would do it without hesitation.

5.00Amazing, can’t-miss experience. Came early/mid-September 2025 and Chris was our guide. He absolutely nailed it! Diligent instruction from the very beginning to get us to the meet location all the way through to getting us into suits and then later out of the water. Took care of all of us, had history/fun facts, great recommendations for the rest of our trip, most importantly gave us an unforgettable experience in the Silfra Fissure and took so many awesome photos of all of us which he shared in no time. Because I am nosey, I noticed other tour groups nearby being told they would have to pay extra for photos afterward if they wanted from their guides. Ours were included. He took plenty of our group in and out of the water, as well as a bunch of scenic shots of the fissure for us! And after an amazing adventure the guys had cocoa and biscuits for us. If you’re looking for a truly top, hassle-free, experience to enhance your vacation to Iceland you must choose this company.

5.00Highly, highly recommend. A much more personalized tour than the big companies. Hedinn takes great care with his guests and his equipment. He is the only one to offer waterproof gloves (and thank goodness for them!) We really enjoyed our tour of Silfra.

5.00Hedinn was an amazing and friendly guide and instructor. His instructions both prior to arrival and prior to the the snorkeling were very clear and detailed. The dry suits were very comfortable and kept us warm throughout the activity. And I believe he's one of the few people who provides the clients with gloves to keep your fingers warm during! The activity itself was absolutely out of the world and could not recommend it enough - the water was amazingly clear and the views were otherworldly. Hedinn was there to help and guide every step of the way. And also clicked plenty of photos before, during and after the snorkeling - and best of all the photos (included for free) were mailed promptly the same night!!! The experience wrapped up with a refreshing cup of hot chocolate and cookies which Hedinn shared with us. Thank you Hedinn for providing a safe, comfortable and unforgettably unique experience snorkeling at the Silfra fissure. Could not recommend this experience provided by Heddin and his company enough!!

5.00This company was awesome! We arrived at the meeting spot and were met by our guide and company owner, Héðinn. He was well prepared and welcoming, making us feel very safe and gave us the genuine Icelandic experience snorkeling followed by hot chocolate and biscuits. Book with this company!! We had a great time and got some real locals knowledge of places of where to go and visit. He even emailed us pictures from the day. A++
