Sioux City Park

Sioux City Park emulates a western city with its typical buildings, peoples and routine, offering tons of fun for its visitors. This city was built back in 1972 as a set for western movies. We are sure you have seen some of the buildings before. This city is not a museum, everything is real and fully functional like for example the sheriff’s or the saloon. Visit the saloon and try some of the drinks they have for you. Moreover there are spectacular shows: bank robbery, firefights between the bandits and the sheriff. There is also a zoo with cachena cows, Jersey giant chickens, emus, suricata and for those of you, reptile-fans: dwarf crocodiles.

We had the best day here! They catered for everyone all ages. The shows were great and the atmosphere was incredible. The whole set was amazing and we had the best time as a group of 4 friends. I will definitely return with my family. Thank you for the best time x

The park disappointed us. The park is small and you have walked around in less than an hour, you can I a small number of buildings where there is little to see inside afterwards. The actors do their best and put on a nice show but the animal-friendly side is certainly present. We therefore left within an hour and a half.

Amazing Wild West Town with interactive ishows ncluding bank robbery, gun fights cattle drive. Actors as cowboys, mexicans & red indians. Great for all the family.

Really fun trip out. I got to ride a horse which was great! This does cost an extra 10 euros. The Saloon bar atmosphere was electric. Defo recommend. It's probably not a full day out & can be very hot.

What an absolute pleasure !! From start to finish !! Free bus pick up in taurito , walked in through ticket office and collected ticket(we booked online which i would advise) easy as pie !! From the moment you enter its unbelievable!! You get greeted with a photo shoot dress up included ! Cost 10 euros to buy after fantastic ! Staff then greet us in character and remained in character all day ! Food was lovely good price too drinks were cheap . Great shows and animals well looked after !! Overall fantastic day out for all ! .

We read the reviews before we went and were impressed by them however when we arrived we became slightly skeptical …. As we drove up the car park looked abandoned but we spotted a man on a horse (which we initially thought was a statue) waving us into the car parking space and the laughter began! The park was wonderful with lots of places to wander in and out of … then the entertainment began and the performers and animals were pretty brilliant. We were amazed to learn that the horses were all rescue animals & looked really healthy and happy. We laughed so hard for most of the day and kept saying to each other “all of this for 20E” !! Food and drink was reasonably priced and of good quality. And the staff worked very hard indeed to make sure everyone had a good day. Amazing and totally mad day …. Really recommended.

We weren't sure what to expect but this was brilliant! Shows throughout the day and a bbq not to be missed...15 euros buys you a decent plate of food and a drink. The staff really care and we found it to be great fun, reasonably priced all round (2 bottles of cider 7e) and we loved it!

Genuinely the best experience! I am a huge fan of Red Redemption 2 and it genuinely felt like we were walking into Valentine. There was a perfect mix of Spanish and English so we could understand everything going on but even when they only spoke Spanish we found it enjoyable The food was amazing and the price was even better & the portion sizes were big! The serve was really sweet & funny! All the staff made us feel welcome and seen! They close at 3pm/4pm to keep the animals out of the extreme heat and you can tell they are all very well looked after! The people genuinely care for the welfare of these animals This was our last full day in Gran Canaria and it was a day well spent!

DO NOT GO!!!!!!!! I have worked in the horse racing industry for years so I know my stuff, the horses are treated so so badly. One mare had very bad sweet itch and an open wound on her chin that was not looked after. I couldn’t bring myself to take a photo. The donkey in the show was lame and had boots on that were too big, after looking at some reviews I saw a photo the reason why the donkey is lame ! Another horse was in a lunge ring on its own with no water and none of the horses had shelter from the blistering heat. Some of the cattle’s feet were also very bad and in need of trimming. Please don’t give these people your money, as it is clearly not invested on the animals!!
