On our Arctic Ice Fishing Adventure, you will take part in one of the most loved winter activities of the north. The tour starts with a scenic drive along fjords and mountains before entering a hidden valley surrounded by even more wild and rugged mountains. On the ice we chill out on cozy reindeer hides while slowly wiggling the rods to attract the big catch. At the same time, it’s impossible not to get mesmerized and intrigued by the surrounding breath-taking nature and everchanging light conditions of the Arctic. Dress warmly so you have the best chance of fully enjoying your time on the ice. We serve hot drinks and snacks while fishing. Though we cannot guarantee the big catch on every tour, this surely will be a fascinating and once-in-a-lifetime experience. Both this activity and the snowshoe trip, is a great choice for those who want to explore and experience wild tranquil nature, culture and Arctic elements at their best in one of the most beautiful places in the North of Norway.

Had an amazing ice fishing experience in Tromsø, thanks to our fantastic guide, Gudmann! The location was stunning, and he made everything easy and fun, even for beginners. His enthusiasm and expertise made the trip truly special. Cooking and tasting our fresh catch on the ice was unforgettable. If you’re in Tromsø, this tour is a must! Huge thanks to Gudmann for making it such a memorable adventure.

Would 100% recommend this fantastic experience. You are taken to a remote lake surrounded by beautiful mountains where the scenery is stunning. The tour guides were so friendly, informative and entertaining. Would definitely recommend the experience and would 100% book again should we return to Tromso.

A very exotic activity, with two very friendly attendants, total disconnection in a beautiful setting, and even comfortably installed! A unique experience that we loved, and that passed far too quickly between games, serenity and taste!

Goodman was a brilliant guide! He brought energy and enthusiasm throughout the whole day. He was filled with so much knowledge and you could clearly see that he had a passion for the Norwegian outdoors. His energy was infectious and we would recommend the activity to all

Fritz and Goodman were such lovely and fun hosts who complimented each other perfectly. Very knowledgeable about everything Norwegian and rightfully proud of their incredible country and home. Environmentally conscious and knowledgeable. It was a privilege to be able to share a small part of what they know and have experienced. They looked after us completely making sure we were comfortable and happy all the time. The time just flew by. It was so quiet and peaceful up in the mountains on this most beautiful lake. We would highly recommend this tour and would do it again without hesitation.

Ice Fishing turned out to be such a fun adventure (even for a non-fisher). We traveled to a scenic lake by the Lyngen Alps--scenery was gorgeous. Everything from warm snowsuit, snow shoes, poles to reindeer skins seats were provided. Goodman (our guide) and Fitz (bus driver/guide) were so knowledgeable about fishing, Tromsø, and Norway and made the learning activity fun.

We had an amazing experience enjoying the ice fishing of Tromsø, which has been one of the highlights of our honeymoon thus far. Although we didn’t catch any fish— but that’s fishing for you! We had a fantastic time taking in the stunning landscapes around Tromsø, snowshoeing across a frozen lake, and then sipping hot chocolate while we fished. A huge thank you to our guide Gudmund and Fritz for making our trip so memorable!

Despite not catching any fish, this was a brilliant excursion. Excellent guide and driver who made it fun and included everyone in the chatter and the quiz at the end. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Warm snow suits and snowshoes (snowshoeing onto the lake an unexpected bonus) were included, together with hot drinks and snacks.
