The exhibition and interactive element is brilliant - love the way it's split by era - and like a jukebox experience and the try yourself part was awesome. The only glaring question - why Black Sabbath aren't featured??!!! They invented a whole new genre - metal/ alternative is given such a small part compared to Britpop/ Indie yet has had a similar impact on music culture- please add more!🙏 maybe Ozzy/ Sabbath could have a visiting exhibit like Live Aid has

If one thing different to do that is do this if you get a Coty Explorer Liverpool you can get this. All I’ll say is they open the doors and you go into an unbelievable array of music memorabilia of decades. If you love music you’re love this.

Must see for anyone who has an interest in British music thru the decades. Lots of displays, with artefacts and you also had the option to play instruments. They also had half hourly shows on the big screen of artists.

My wife and I visited the British Music Experience recently on short trip to Liverpool. We love music and this was a good one. Broken down into different eras and well put together. Special exhibition on Live Aid which was fun to see. Good price for your money and book on-line to get little discount. Very friendly staff plus there are breakout areas to sing, dance and play instruments. Good times and highly recommend.

Displays, pictures, videos, wardrobes — and interactive opportunities to dance to a decade, record a song and play an instrument ! From the ‘40s to today. Fab music experience! Don’t miss it. There are also little lockers which I saw on a he way out— had to carry my coat around.

Lives the interactive nature of the museum, especially the dance room. Cafe had limited selected but reasonable prices. Enjoyed the live aid performances

Refused entry as a few minutes over last admission. Even told staff it was due to disability of family members makes daily outdoor trips a challenge to attend places. Staff member couldn’t care less Not a disability positive experience at all
