The BC Wildlife Park in Kamloops came to life in 1965 and continues to evolve as a Wildlife Park that showcases the Wildlife of British Columbia and is one of the few Wildlife Rehabilitation Centres in British Columbia. The BC Wildlife Park has 209 animals, including the only Kermode Bear in human care in the world. The BC Wildlife Park’s animals have found their way to us because they were either orphaned, born in another CAZA accredited facility or were brought to our Fawcett Family Wildlife Health Centre and their injuries have prevented them from being released back into the wild.
The BC Wildlife Park offers many engaging activities that we encourage everyone to enjoy, including feed talks, Bird of Prey shows, a splash park and playground, and the Wildlife Express train.
Each visitor to the Park helps our non profit society support the rescue and rehabilitation of British Columbia's animals.

BC Wildlife Park
Your BC Wildlife Park experience begins with complimentary parking, or, you can arrive to the front door by city transit. Present your voucher for admission at our Guest Services counter and pick up a beverage and a snack at our Blue Heron Café to enjoy during your leisurely self guided tour of the Park. To ease any mobility concerns you can rent a stroller or wagon, or borrow a wheelchair. Enjoy complimentary wi-fi in our Discovery Centre and make sure you check out our daily activities listing to plan your day before heading outside! Once inside the Park many of our guests head to the Grizzly Bear enclosure, which is often one of our scheduled feed talks, allowing our guests to learn about our rescued bears' story and behaviours, and ask an animal keeper questions. Continue exploring and say hi to many more species until you arrive at the Wildlife Express train; enjoy a mini train ride throughout the BC Wildlife Park, allowing you to view our animals from unwalkable areas. After your short rest, head to the splash park and playground, or the Home Hardware family farm to meet some of our goats and sheep up close. Continue past the family farm and say hi to Clover, the only Kermode bear in human care in the world! On your way back you'll meet even more of British Columbia's wildlife including black bears, wolves, and cougars! Finish your visit to the BC Wildlife Park with a unique souvenir from the Naturally Yours Gift Shop, where your purchase helps us continue to help British Columbia's wildlife.

with any wildlife park you have to be a little bit lucky that the animals are out and about and for us the two grizzly's were amazing - playing close to fence in the water and having a big disagreement right in front of us. Amazing to watch.
