  DO NOT BOOK THIS SCAM. i booked for a tour with an audioguide. The audioguide DOES NOT WORK inside Uffizi gallery. We ended up paying extra 12 euro for the in-house audioguide, which is fine. Bombarded with message from the tour operator prior to the date, but requests for refund remain unanswered.

• Better off booking Uffici directly

  No advantage that I can see to book here unless admittance is sold out on Uffici site. The audio guide is app based and very incomplete and not up to date.

• Only rent audio from the ufizzi

  Incredible and you can spend a half day there easily. That being said, the audio that came with my Trip Advisor entry tickets was absolutely the worst. We should have rented the audio from the gallery when we got there. Buy your tickets in advance to avoid the long lines but do not get the audio that you download to yourself phone under any circumstances. The numbers coded do not match the numbers in the gallery, and the application keeps shutting down. It doesn't matter if you add the app to your phone or not. It doesn't work properly or narrate well. I am a long time TripAdvisor fan but this audio download to my cell phone was a waste of money.

• Don't buy the audioguide. It's a scam !

  Me and my wife visited the museum today. I previously bought the tickets from the museum website including the Audioguide. We paid an extra 8€ for this audioguide service (35+8=43€ each). As advised by the museum we download the complete audioguide to our phones at home long before arriving to the museum. Today, when we arrived there, my wife's audioguide simply did not work at all and mine worked but several things where not correctly shown and the order of the art pieces where shown in incorrect places. A few things simply did NOT work at all. It was really a terrible experience and we felt that we wasted our money. More... we were surprised to see that the audioguide that you could get at the museum was less expensive, only 6€ and we paid 8€. This is really a bad service that made our visit a bad experience and I can not recommend it at all. I'm sharing this so that other visitors are not deceived as we were. It is a shame that an important museum as yours sells a product like this !!! Nuno Melo

• Not skip the queue

  I am sure the chances of getting in without a ticket bought in advance are slim to none however the ticket should be renamed 'advance' ticket not skip the queue. Massive queue taking ages until you actually get in. You are then faced with a very busy gallery with further queues to see some exhibits. Also faced with lots of people more concerned about their social media channels etc getting the perfect video/pics etc i.e. obvious to others and just standing in the way. Yes some lovely works of art but overall felt disappointed. If you like to stand around in queues then highly recommended.

• Confusing audio guide instructions.

  The gallery was fine but instructions on the audio guide were not clear. I got over there in the line and asked about the audio guide and they told me they had no wifi to be able to download the guide so I had to rent one there which was an extra 6 Euro.

  Although tickets to the Gallerie degli Uffizi are expensive and sold for specific dates and times, the number of visitors admitted at the same time is far above the capacity that the museum can handle with comfort. The galleries were extremely crowded, which made the visit stressful rather than pleasant. Inside the museum, the information to the visitor is not friendly. In many areas there is no single and clearly defined circuit, which makes circulation very difficult. People end up going back and forth through the same spaces, creating confusion, crowding and making it difficult to appreciate the works. The staff's attention was also disappointing. Instead of assisting visitors in guidance within the museum, several staff were impatient and rude. I also rented the audio guide in Spanish for 6 euros, and it was a complete waste of money. The audioguide was not synchronized with the numbering of the rooms, so the explanations often did not correspond to the works or the environments we were visiting. Thus, the information heard did not coincide with what was being seen. Overall, the experience at the Gallerie degli Uffizi was poorly organized and far below expectations for one of the most famous museums in the world. Given the high ticket price and the poor experience offered to the visitor, I do not recommend the visit.

  I paid viatior for an audio guide I had to pay again to get one. Too many people in the museum... at moment you see more phones taking pictures than the pictures. Tourismn s killing this city

  Highly recommend see the rich culture of the Renaissance. So many collections of the paintings and sculptures of the famous artists.

  Great for entry tickets but YOU HAVE TO BRING YOUR OWN HEADPHONES & DOWNLOAD TICKETS/GUIDE PRIOR TO GETTING THERE! Learn from our mistakes - I did not realize you had to bring your own headphones and so that was a huge bummer because we couldn't listen to the guide since we didn't have service once we got there.
