After meeting our guide the first food stop is in a place at the center of historical center in Corfu Town called "the saint" where we will have a typical greek brunch. The brunch includes the traditional greek cheese pie, spinach pie, custard cream pie, ginger beer, baklava and then famous greek yogurt.
Lazaris Distillery & Artisan Sweets
Our second food stop will introduce our visitors the local kumquat fruit. We will try the kumquat liquor, the kumquat flavored greek delights and the "mandolato" a corfiot sweet made of nougat.

5.00If you love food and history, this is the tour to take in Corfu. Nausica was the perfect guide: warm, knowledgeable, and eager to share her city's secrets. The culinary experience was outstanding. We started with spanakopita and other pastries; moved through a charcuterie board of local meats, fruits, and cheese; tasted kumquat liqueurs and sweets; sampled local olive oils; and finished with a generous family-style lunch. The meal included sofritos, pastitsada, Greek salad, and gigantes plaki—an accommodation for the vegetarian in our group, which for me was the best dish of the meal! (Wine and ouzo paired perfectly). Beyond the food, the tour was well-organized and efficient, covering the Old Town's history and architecture seamlessly. We'd jump at the chance to tour with Nausica again. Highly recommended!

5.00We enjoyed the gastronomy tour. We had some delicious breakfast bites to start. Then we went to taste the kumquat liquor, jams, and other items. It was a lovely store. We were able to purchase some items. Next we went to Olive oil tasting and were able to smell some spices. Another very nice shop- they have travel sizes to purchase. We heard about some history along the way. Finally we ended up at a lovely Taverna for lunch with homemade items. Fresh Greek salad, rooster, and beef. We had a choice of beverage including local white wine. Our guide, Alice, was a wonderful host who made everyone feel welcome. Our small group consisted of ten people. We had a wonderful time.

5.00Nausica was absolutely amazing!! We could feel and see the passion she has for her island and her culture. She took us all around Old Town to the local hangouts and we left very full and very happy!! Thank you Nausica!!

5.00We so enjoyed our tour with Alice today. She was so knowledgeable about Corfu’s unique history and was so excited to share it with the group. The food was fantastic - we loved trying things that were new to us on our trip. Each stop introduced us to new flavors and experiences. Would highly recommend anyone coming to the island of Corfu to book this tour!

5.00We went on this tour in August 2025, as part of a group of five. Our tour guide was Alice, a doctoral student and Corfiot, having moved from Thessaloniki. She was clearly very friendly with the owners of the small businesses we passed along our way, and this tour felt less like a tourist experience than an immersion into local culture. Alice shared with us some of her favourite spots, and we particularly enjoyed sampling the bread and butter, and the kumquat liqueur. Alice also shared some of the history of the island, which was great context for our visits - this would be a good tour to do first thing when you arrive! The tour rounded out with a full lunch and Alice was very keen to provide us with insider knowledge about the best places to eat and drink for the remainder of our stay. Loved this, highly recommend!

5.00A fantastic few hours exploring the food and drinks of Corfu. Our guide Nausika was wonderful company and passionate about the food, history and culture of her island. We were so full by the end of the tour -definitely don’t eat before you go!
