The Geothermal Park Hveragerdi
Once picked up, our initial stop on the Golden Circle Tour is the Iceland Hot Springs Park in Hveragerði. A brief drive will bring you to the Eilífur Geyser, which erupts every 15-20 minutes. Stroll along the park's trails, enveloped by bubbling hot springs that highlight Iceland's geothermal marvels. Savor hverabrauð, a sweet bread baked using geothermal heat in the on-site bakery. Inside the greenhouse, witness banana plants thriving in this unique geothermal setting.
Kerid Crater
Next stop is at Kerid, a brightly colored volcanic crater. Kerid is only a few thousand years old, and the crater’s colorful appearance comes from iron deposits in the rocks. The caldera is also covered with lush banks of velvet-green moss. Inside the crater lies a shallow turquoise-colored lake, making Kerid one of the most striking sights seen anywhere in Iceland.

5.00The golden circle was spectacular, even when driving between stops just staring out of the window was awe inspiring, but our favourite part was seeing where the Thingvellir nation park (Bloody Gate for GOT fans). Worth it just to stand between two continents with amazing views. The whole trip was made even more enjoyable wby our guide Bear who provide a lot of interesting facts as well as some sagas and a nice bit of dry humour. We would definitely recommend. Takk fyrir Bear.

5.00Absolutely amazing & must do tour! We chose the Hvammsvik Hot Spring over the Blue / Sky lagoon as it provides a more natural experience in the Whale Fjord & we were lucky enough to get a double rainbow. It's everything you want & more... You won't regret it.

5.00Fabulous tour today! We stoped to see Icelandic horses and shared so much great information everywhere we went. He was a wonderful and caring driver for our small group and made sure to answer all of our questions. The best part was finishing the tour at the spectacular hot springs! This is a tour I wouldn’t miss!

5.00Tour was awesome! Weather was super windy but hey, it’s Iceland in March lol. Our guide Catherine was great with communications and helped us know what to expect They had to substitute the one springs for another but had let us know well in advance and gave us other options. Overall was a great tour

5.00This was a day trip of a class! Christina, our guide, has magic powers! Right at the beginning the caring SMS for pickup, the friendly reception at the pick up point. And off we went. Christina mastered difficult road conditions with flying colors. Each viewpoint was professionally initiated and accompanied by her. Even the weather fairy charmed her. If we still had snowstorms on the way out, the weather was good to sunny just in time for the exit. The trips between the sights filled Christina with charm, wit and professional information. A top recommendation from my side. Christina made my day 🫶🏻. Thanks 🙏
