Launching from the Ziptrek Treehouse at the Skyline Gondola summit, you’ll zipline down the mountain and take in panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu and the snow-capped Remarkables mountain range. With three tours to choose from it's fun for everyone - whether you are looking for an introduction into Queenstown adventure, excited by the thrill of the world's steepest tree-to-tree zipline, or taking the plunge on our newest tour; the Kereru, which features a 21 metre drop!

The maximum weight for any Ziptrek Ecotour is 125kg (275lbs). The Kea tour has a minimum weight of 30kg (66lbs).
Gondola tickets are not included in price - we recommend a minimum of 60 minutes to access the upper Skyline complex from the base terminal, or at least 90 minutes in peak times
Please bring an extra layer of clothing year round! Jackets, hats and gloves are recommended. Closed toe shoes are essential (no sandals, flip flops or heels)
Prior to your arrival it is mandatory to complete a Participant Consent Form. The web link to this form will be within your voucher
Youths under the age of 14 years MUST be accompanied by a paying adult (15 years and over) on tour. Those 17 years and under must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian who is 18 years or over.
If you or anyone in your group has a medical condition or a recent injury please bring this to our attention. Pregnant woman are unable to go on tour.

You'll hang out in magnificent treehouses, breathe pristine mountain air and glide through the treetops on a series of ziplines with spectacular views. Longer and faster than our other tours, the Kea has you ending on the world's steepest tree-to-tree zipline, reaching 70kph!

5.00A great challenge even for the fainthearted- 6 zip lines through the forest- well worth the effort. Guided through by Pearl and Mitchell - they were great- good humour and knowledge. Also happy to support an eco friendly tourist adventure.

5.00Had a really fun afternoon zipping through the forest and doing a short hike as part of the tour. Our guides were very friendly and made sure we're all perfectly safe throughout the activity. I would suggest though that it be made clear in the booking information that the guests can get back up to Skyline using the same gondola ticket if you get the Ziptrek stamp. I didn't know this beforehand and bought a separate gondola ticket for the zipline tour knowing I'd end up at the bottom of the hill afterwards. For context, I also had a gondola ticket and luge package booked for the evening of the same day and would have just used that if I'd known beforehand that I could get back up on the same gondola ticket.

5.00I'm over 60 and did the 6 lines with walking and really had a great time. The guides were great and made it fun. We all had a laugh. You do need to book early.
