Snowshoe trekking in the snowy forest is one of the must-not-miss experience during the Nordic winter!

Our experienced guide will teach you how to wear snowshoes and lead you to the deep Arctic forest. People have no regular exercises or little children can enjoy this experience as well!

While you trek into the forest in the Arctic Circle, don’t forget to look around and try to find wild Arctic animals. Also, your guide will prepare a forest campfire barbecue with warm tea for you during the tour.

Your guide will take you to the lands around Viiksjärvi lake, prepare all necessary equipment and outer clothes for you. Then you will head deeper into the arctic taiga forest or out onto the pristine frozen white Viiksjärvi. All the while the guide is captivating stories and information about the Arctic region. About halfway through we make a stop to enjoy a snack and warm up around a campfire.
