Cruise with a small group of guests onboard our spacious 50foot catamaran. With fantastic viewing areas and plenty of shade, ‘Orcaella’ gives you the perfect venue to spot wildlife: the rare Australian snubfin dolphins, dugongs, turtles, shorebirds, and playful bottlenose dolphins (sightings vary each day and are not guaranteed).
Enjoy a morning of fun and discover why Sir David Attenborough's visited Roebuck Bay. Sip on a warm cuppa as our knowledgeable crew share Mother Nature with you.
Courtesy bus transfers are available from all accommodation places in Broome. Self-drive to Entrance Point. Departure points vary. Boarding commences 20 minutes before departure.
Toilet on board. Swimming in the boom net is available but subject to conditions and wildlife sightings.

5.00From the moment we met the crew it was clear we were in good hands. Instructive and safe tendering out the cruiser, followed by informative briefing before getting into the fun bit, getting out in the glorious turquoise waters of Roebuck Bay. Cameron gave us a fantastic commentary about the ecology of the area, the wide variety of species the bay is home to and their importance to the ecosystem while we travelled to spots where the snub nosed dolphins could be hanging out. We soon found a couple of pods and drifted along with them, watching them go about their daily business, socialising and playing, it was a real treat. Also on board was Georgia and Payton and between them, they kept us fed and watered while providing further valuable knowledge on the species that we encountered. Which turned out to be flat back turtles, dugongs and the occasional inquisitive bottle nose dolphin. The nature spotting was punctuated with the opportunity to get in to warm blue water of the bay atop of the net that was trailed off the back of the boat. If you've never tried it, you be surprised by how much fun it is! All in all it was a fantastic way to spend a morning, and incredible value for money.

5.00Amazing wildlife viewing: snubfins, manta ray, turtles and even a hammerhead shark. Crew were great and plenty of nice snacks offered throughout the trip.

5.00The whole experience from start to finish was awesome. The staff were very friendly and professional, Cameron was very knowledgeable and caring of the wildlife. He took us to see the wildlife but did not disturb them at all. The food was marvellous and the boom net was fun and refreshing. I thoroughly recommend this tour

5.00Great adventure. Staff were very informative and emphasised the importance of conservation. We were lucky to see snub fin dolphins, bottle nose dolphins and turtles. The food was wonderful , perfect service and staff were very attentive ensuring everyone had the most wonderful experience.

3.00Naturally seeing wildlife can’t be promised and the offer of a free trip later is appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great. However it could do with an ongoing commentary or something to fill the time.

5.00This tour was magical! The staff are exceptional, the skipper was so knowledgeable and friendly, the crew were so friendly and helpful, even providing a cool cloth soaked with eucalyptus when I felt seasick. The food provided was lovely, and the boat was very well maintained. We got really lucky and saw lots of wildlife- would highly recommend this tour.
