Gorgeous little South Sea Island is one of the treasures of the Mamanuca Islands. Crystal clear waters, coral reefs and thousands of colourful tropical fish surround the tiny island.

The Half Day cruise to South Sea Island is perfect for those who don't have a lot of time to spare but still want a taste of the 'real Fiji'. This fantastic cruise means you'll get to explore one of Fiji's cutest Mamanuca Islands and get into 'island time'. As the island is only 30 minutes from Denarau, you'll have time to do many of the activities on the island and meet the friendly Fijian's ashore.

Duration: 5 hours: The Cruise departs Port Denarau at 12:15pm and arrives Port Denarau at 6:00pm
Lunch: A BBQ buffet lunch, local beer, house wine, bottled water, and soft drinks are all included while on South Sea Island.
Pick Up Area: Departs Port Denarau at 12:15pm for customers from Denarau, Wailoaloa & Nadi areas ONLY. Returns to Port Denarau at 6pm

Those looking to take a trip to the islands near Fiji should know that South Sea Cruises, the provider of this activity, barely respects any of the reservation conditions. Neither the times scheduled nor the places of pick up and drop off. The island itself isn't a marvel, but it's not that bad. The thing is that its premises are very poorly maintained. If you wish you can go, but try to choose a good provider.

It was a very nice day, good lunch with entertainment, they have bathrooms and showers there to rinse off after swimming in the ocean and a few vendors to buy souvenirs.

Smoothly run tour. Snorkeling equipment wasn’t great, and the snorkeling itself was disappointing. Went out in the submersible and enjoyed that more than the snorkeling. Maybe I’m jaded after snorkeling in Hawaii, Great Barrier Reef, etc. Lunch was nice and adequate.

This activity is well planned out, informative and enjoyable. There was a meal for us and complementary drinks included in the package! Plenty of activities, too! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Good: The island was awesome, the snorkelling view was amazing, the water was super clear, the food was good. Bad: The bus was 35 minutes late so some people missed their boat and the outer reef snorkelling was less than 10 minutes. If you have them TAKE REEF/RIVER SHOES! There are heaps of tiny pieces of coal on the beach and while very pretty it is a bit sharp to walk on
