Kapaleeshwarar Temple – Mylapore Your tour begins with a visit to the famous Kapaleeshwarar Temple in Mylapore. 4.00This was an OK tour … hindered slightly by the language … when you advertise an English speaking guide .. we struggled to understand a lot of what the guide was telling us. Also we were picked up at 10.30am for an advertised 6 hour tour … before we even started he asked if it was OK to drop us back at 1.30pm to which we said no & stated the 6 hour time frame. (We were dropped back at 3) . Also as we did not want to go on the shopping section of the tour … we asked if they could take us to a supermarket to purchase some water & soft drinks & we were still taken to the clothes shop?! Luckily a little shop nearby had what we needed. Our guide then left us completely with the driver at the shops for him to take us back to the hotel. I’ve been on better tours …….

4.00Overall a good half day out. Driver was prompt and took us around well. Guide was extremely knowledgable both on the journey pointing out places of interest and at the visit sites. Some sites were great, particularly the temple and the market we were taking to, but wouldn’t recommend the fish market or the fort to include.

4.00Good trip. Very informative! Akil was a good guide & Mr Selvam was a safe driver. Saw some of the sights of Chennai & happy with the length of the trip. Advise to take trip early in the day as it gets very hot around lunchtime.

5.00The booking process was seamless. Our guide and driver was on time. Our guide Akil was a pleasent and knowledgable man. Gave us sufficient time to take pictures and never rushed. Always made sure we were fine during our tour.
