2 person lessons are a perfect way to get started with Stand Up Paddle Boarding or hone your skills with professional guidance from qualified instructors. Located on Perth's beautiful Swan River you are sure to enjoy every minute! Sharing the cost also means this activity is great value!

BYO swimwear, rash vest or wetsuit.

1. On arrival you'll need to register at the sign-on table, next we adjust the paddle to suit your height so you can sanitize the handle and shaft with antibacterial wipes (as provided) along with sanitizer spray for the leash, deck pad and your hands (after applying 50+ UV sunscreen) which is all provided free of charge, including bottled water for hydration and your safety prior to heading out. 2. All paddlers receive a 7-minute briefing which includes the fundamental techniques of Stand Up Paddle Boarding, with an additional 1/4 hr free time to enjoy on the water, unless we have ques forming for the next session. 3. After demonstrating your practical ability on the water (with our assistance to complete a short course) then you're free to complete our designated 2 km course and beyond... 4. If you have booked a LESSON (versus hire) we will share various KEY DRILLS for you to practice and master, allowing 30 + mins on the water as free paddle time to do as you please. 5. Please provide us with confirmation of your booking and what you have paid for, prior to commencing your lesson or hire session.

Great experience. I was so nervous, never having done paddleboarding, but Gordon gave great instruction and I felt exhilarated at the end.
Well worth taking a lesson.

My sister and I had a great morning out on the beautiful Swan river with Gordon on our first SUP experience. Gordon was extremely knowledgable and a great communicator. He was a friendly guy who made the lesson lots of fun and really rewarding. Thanks SUP Central WA!

Gordon was great, he was patient & knowledgeable. Highly recommend getting a proper lesson/fundamentals for SUP. We’ll be back for hire & get more time on the board! Matilda Bay is so beautiful & sheltered, perfect for first timers on the board.

We had a great time at our first SUP lesson with Gordon. We received excellent tips and instruction and enjoyed a relaxing SUP around the bay. Highly recommend if you want to learn how to SUP.

First time stand up paddle boarding and LOVED IT. Gordon is a fantastic teacher, very clear instructions and had myself and my son standing up and having fun in no time at all. Even taught us a couple of tricks which my son mastered after a few goes. Thanks Gordon, such a great experience which we will do again very soon I’m sure.

Gordon is friendly and welcoming. Makes everything relaxed and simple to understand. I wasn't new to SUP, so he gave me some extra skills and tips to master. However, when I watched him with other customers who were new, I saw how quickly everyone managed to stand up and how to get lots of fun out of the experience. He focussed on safety and control, before letting anyone 'out of the pen'! What a great experience - whether for newbies or those of us who have SUP'd before. And what a fantastic location - million dollar views. Who needs a boat! :)
