  We had a GREAT experience! Bryan & Gio were so skilled on the scooters. They strategically positioned themselves at different places to keep us safe and moving at a great pace. Definitely recommend this experience!! 💕

  Brian did an awesome job showing us around Gros Islet! He kept us entertained by giving us facts about the area, and showing us some cool local spots. Even recommended restaurants and bars for us to check out while we went to the Friday Night Street Party we had planned to go to later that day. Thanks Brian for the great afternoon!

  This trip is NOT for everyone. Our guides Brad and Donovan did the best they could do based on the surroundings. St Lucia traffic is very different than in the U.S. You have to pay attention and exercise caution during the scooter ride. The view and the tour was fantastic.! You see the area up close and personal. The ride was “thrilling” and also dangerous because you are in an unknown area with unknown “rules of the road” that are a mystery to this writer. This has the potential to ruin your whole vacation or make it the most memorable!!

  I would rate this place a zero if I could. Absolutely do not book with this company. They first failed to pick us up from the cruise port. Stating that pick up was at 10am for an 11am tour even though in our booking and confirmation emails there was absolutely no indication of a pick up time. We had to pay for our own taxi to take us 45 minutes away from port. When we arrived, they took us on a “training” DIRT and ROCKY lot. They state “if you can ride a bike, you can ride our scooters”. This is ABSOLUTELY nothing like riding a bike nor even close to a motorcycle. The throttle was extremely sensitive and both myself got injured and also an older man that was with the family next to us. I ended up having to go to the cruise ship doctor and had over $500 in medical expenses. And this poor man who also got injureds leg was gushing blood. The company refused to give us a full refund, but opted to give us 50% of our money back even though we didn’t even get to go on the excursion hence both of the families had badly injured members. Viator also would not give us a full refund due to the refund status being up to the company. This company is nothing but money grabbers and do not care if you get injured. They also stated the other family members could have still gone on the tour. Do you seriously expect a family to leave their young daughter alone in a foreign country? and continue to go on an excursion that they just watched someone get injured on so badly they needed x rays?? What ever you do, take my word of advice and do not book this tour. It is not a family friendly nor “beginner” biking tour.

• Don’t do it. Don’t book through TripAdvisor either.

  My daughter was injured during the “training” portion of this excursion. Training occurs in a dirt parking lot. The scooters are custom and do not handle anything like a normal scooter or motorcycle. The throttle is extremely sensitive. Long story short, my daughter was injured and bleeding (bad enough that she required X-rays), and when a refund was requested, it was denied. The manager said that Viator “would not allow” him to refund us, per their policy. However, when I contacted Viator (Trip Advisor) they said the excursion operator makes the decision on refunds. I requested the refund via Viator and they responded that the operator said no and there’s nothing they would do about it. We were expected to complete the excursion even with an injured family member. In addition to having to eat the cost of this excursion, I incurred medical expenses of almost $500. Stay away from LucienStyle Excursions and also do not book through TripAdvisor/Viator. They do not do the right thing in cases like ours.

  We were picked up promptly and taken to the starting point of the tour. We had an orientation and practice time with the scooters. Brad and Mervin made sure that everyone was well prepared for the ride and then we had an excellent time touring around the area.

  This tour was a lot of fun! There were a lot of good stops along the way for photos. The guides Bryan and Gio were very helpful and patient.

• Poor communication and failed pick up

  We never actually made this trip as the instructions given to us were not clear enough for us and no map provided. So we ended up walking for ages and missed the pick up point. There was no further communication from the scooter company following this missed pickup despite us requesting a refund. This is not good.

  Starting off by saying the staff was great, making sure the experience went off safely. But the reason my review is not 5 stars is because of confusion at the beginning and then not quite sure what got for the tour. We were provided a address for the pickup point. So we went street side. After not finding anyone we called and was told that someone was at the gangway waiting. This resulted in wasted walking and time. To be clear, this activity is NOT 'No extra skill required—if you can ride a bike, you can ride a scooter'. We had several that failed the figure 8 test drive you had to pass before hitting the streets. As for the tour itself, not quite sure what we got or did. You can read the full tour description yourself but the following is what I'm am questioning or even sure we did. If the below were meant to be only a drive-by then it should have been pointed out. The tour description said: 'Pigeon Island to Cas-en-Bas to Rodney Bay and beyond, your guide turning scenic vistas into storied landmarks along the way. See the Beverly hills of St. Lucia, pirate hangouts, and more' The itinerary said (read the FULL description of each): 'Reduit Beach Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium Gros Islet Pigeon Island National Park Cap Estate Rodney Bay Marina' We only had 1 stop and pretty sure it was at the Pigeon Island Public Beach. All in all, the tour could have gone off better.
