This tour is an excellent way to have an immersive dinner experience in Stockholm. It is a lighter and more relaxed tour than our day tours and there is also less walking. Instead the focus is centered around challenging your taste buds! Starting off with a number of smaller tastings we explore the modern Nordic kitchen that is fresh, young and very fusion inspired. We then visit a nearby restaurant for a main course, a glass of wine and a chance to sit and relax and enjoy the mood of a Stockholm summer night. Finally we finish off the tour at one of the more popular hot spots for a drink and a dessert worth remembering. Along the way you will get to experience how the people of Stockholm themselves enjoy an evening out in the Scandinavian Capital.

My group of six arrived 15 minutes early for our 7PM food experience. Other than one other tourist who had booked the experience, we were the only people near the meeting point (leg statue - see photo). We were surprised when we saw workers closing the gates to the meeting area at 7PM. I immediately messaged the tour operator (Tours of Stockholm) through the aviator app. I also left them a voicemail at the listed number. Around 7:10 I called Viator support and they called the same number I had tried multiple times. They said the tour guide answered the call, and stated he could not find us at the pickup point at 7PM so he left. I was shocked that the tour company would try to blame my group for their failure to show up. At least I got a picture of the giant leg statue before they closed the gates.
