Berengère not only has very impressive historical knowledge, but also proves to be an outstanding storyteller. We are passionate about the richness of his explanations, but also captivated by the tone of the story, eager to know the rest, as in the best novels. The walk first propelled us to the time of the first settlers, to allow us to share over the centuries the lives and struggles of the inhabitants: the whole cycle thrilling trials and renaissances, until today. An exceptional visit!

Very nice walk in the town of Horta guided by Berengère who knows all the secrets! Both informative and fun, we discovered the city differently. Berengère is really passionate about her island! Afterwards, we walk in search of all the details explained during the visit.

It's not the first time I've been to Horta, but I've never taken the time to dwell on the history of the city. What a mistake! Horta’s story is incredible and Berengère tells us in an exciting way during this walk in the city. I learned a lot and discovered some nice places. A visit highly recommended!

Two hours of exciting anecdotes and stories. It is like the 15th century, between the attacks of privateers, the colonization of the island, etc. We see pirate, monk, winemaker, fisherman, farmer, farmer. Very nice moment in the company of Berengère who knows his subject and tells with passion, the story of Horta.

At the chance of a meeting in a wine bar of Horta, we met Berengère who proposes a historical walk in the alleys of the capital of Faial Island. We spent an exciting and rewarding afternoon. Bérengère is passionate about her adopted city, she has long worked on her subject and knows how to share it enthusiastically. It's the kind of visit and meeting you don't forget. We'll come back to taste the rum of the Azores that Berengère and her husband will soon launch.

Discover the charm of the city of Horta and its history during a guided 2-hour walk, that is what Berengère offers. She was fun, informative and happy to answer questions. She knows her subject well and delivers it with a lot of passion, punctuated by some relevant anecdotes and a touch of humor. The march proceeded at a quiet pace. I highly recommend!
