The canyon was beautiful and I would definitely go. I'd look for another operator though. We ran very late because some people didn't follow instructions. Other tours moved quicker and saw more things. Our tour moved very slow. We had to wait an hour and a half in this really touristy town where I think everybody got ripped off. The boat stopped and asked everybody for tips then boarded. It put a bad taste in my mouth.

Obed's advice excellent. He helped us a lot. In the Sumidero Canyon the most beautiful views. El Mirador super!! Transportation in the vans very comfortable and safe. Chiapa de Corzo beautiful although to eat is better San Cristobal. We'd definitely come back.

I'd do a joint pick-up point. Furthermore very well arranged and beautiful excursion. Highly recommended!! Too bad the guide on the boat didn't speak English.

Even tho the tour was in Spanish me and my gf had a great day (I speak a little Spanish) the canyon gave us a wow experience and is all worth it. The efterpath in the town is boring and unnecessary. Overall a good day. Only downside is that it said that the tour was done around 4pm but we were home at 18:15

First of all our guide Miguel was amazing he was so wise and was willing to answer all of our questions, he is definitely NOT the reason for the lower rating. Secondly the trip was beautiful and the views from the boat are great we got to see crocodiles and monkeys!!! Be prepared for a few things for this tour: 1. It is only in Spanish which is not clear before booking. 2. It says it will finish at 4pm but it finished at 7pm, not due to traffic from the moment we got in the bus we were informed of the finish time. 3. You are in the bus a lot, the start is nice and the viewpoints and boat ride are incredible but the town is worth a miss, maybe just to eat and leave rather than walk around for 30 minutes or so.

This tour does what it says. The sites are well worth it. The lookouts and the boat trip are stunning. Unfortunately the tour bus has 8 seats in the back where you can not see out as they have tinted the wo down in a heavy or black red tint. There are some beautiful mountains views on the roads to the sites but could not see anything. As many people have said in reviews it's all in spanish only, I'm ok with that. However l can report there was one word of English at the end of the boat trip.. TIP! Lots of different companies do the exact same trip try for one that has a bus you can see out of. The 1.5 hours on chiapa de corzo is way too long

Amazing trip. We read the reviews this sounded good. They definitely didn’t speak any English but it’s not difficult to understand what they tell you. They picked us up bang on time in a smart a/c van and took us around to all the sites. The boat tour was amazing. We were the only non Spanish speakers in our boat and it was great. You might not fully understand everything they tell you but the main points you can grasp. Didn’t detract from the day. Highly recommend this tour for a great day out.
