Start your day with one of the most unforgettable experiences in Rio de Janeiro, a sunrise hike to the top of Morro Dois Irmãos.
Beginning in the vibrant community of Vidigal, this experience combines adventure, local culture, and breathtaking views. Ride a moto taxi through the neighborhood before hiking the scenic trail with an experienced guide who knows the mountain and the area.
At the summit, watch the sun rise over Rio’s coastline as the city slowly wakes up below you.
From the top, you’ll enjoy one of the most iconic panoramic views in the city, overlooking Ipanema, Leblon, and the Atlantic Ocean.

Meet your guide and group at Praça do Vidigal, where we’ll introduce the plan for the morning before beginning the adventure together. Next, hop on a local moto taxi and ride through the vibrant streets of Vidigal to reach the entrance of the trail leading up Morro Dois Irmãos. From there, we hike the scenic trail together with your guide leading the way. As we climb through the forest, you’ll begin to see Rio slowly waking up below. At the top, enjoy one of the most breathtaking sunrise views in the city, with panoramic views over Rio de Janeiro, including Ipanema, Leblon, and the coastline. After taking photos and soaking in the view, we hike back down together and finish the experience with a simple local breakfast to celebrate the climb.

5.00Amazing activity to enjoy on our last morning in Rio. Need a moderate level of fitness as it is a lot of climbing quickly. All worth it though, once at the top. Bring some water and enjoy the climb.
