5.00This Temple is located a bit far from Dempasar. Our accommodation was in Legian and it took as about 2h to get there (30 km), traffic is ridiculous in Bali. The temple itself is in a rock by the coast, unfortunately you have to wait until the tide is good. otherwise they will not allow you to cross...

5.00The Tanah Lot and North Bali scenic tour was bound to be breathtaking…but my endlessly helpful and cheerful tour guide Dede made it so much more! From serenading Happy Birthday to me, upon his arrival…to the incredible instaworthy photos he tirelessly took of me, every single request was met with a ready smile! The trip is consummate Bali, from stunning jungle waterfalls, temples surrounded by crashing waves, gorgeous mountain lakes, and colorful lakeside temples with pristine gardens. A highlight was certainly a delicious al fresco lunch overlooking the UNESCO rice terraces shimmering below your feet. Dede was not only incredibly knowledgeable about every location we toured, he patiently answered all my endless questions, as if it was the first time he had ever done so. Finally his deft weaving through the crowded Balinese streets will have you marveling and leave you feeling that you are always in good hands. The entire tour was chockfull of breathtaking, iconic vistas which celebrate the essence of Bali…but it was Dede who made it a birthday memory I will cherish.

5.00I had an amazing private tour with driver & guide Damar. It was truly an unforgettable experience to discover Bali. The timings were so great, we got to visit all sights just before the crowds, plenty of photo opportunities (Damar took some wonderful photos as well!!!) and we were so lucky with the weather, too. Thank you for this amazing day!

4.00Tanah Lot is stunning and truly iconic — the temple on the rock, the waves crashing, and the overall setting make it very photogenic. I enjoyed the beauty of the place, but the crowds were extremely heavy, especially near sunset. It becomes difficult to walk, take photos, or enjoy the view peacefully. There are also too many shops and vendors, which reduces the natural charm a little. The pathways are fine, but the overall experience feels a bit rushed and commercial. Worth visiting once for the scenery, but I would recommend going early morning or before 4 PM to avoid the worst of the crowd.

5.00My wife and I had a great trip to North Bali. Ketut Kacung made the trip extra special for our honeymoon with some surprises throughout the day. He was very informative and really friendly. Ketut was also a great photographer and captured some wonderful pictures for us. The day has been unforgettable!
