On a day trip to the discovery of Taormina and Castelmola, our expert drivers will show you the natural and historical beauty of this part of the island.
Taormina has one of the most panoramic Belvedere in Sicily. After visiting the city, we will move to Castelmola, a sleepy town not far from Taormina.
Then we will take a quick tour of the Madonna Della Rocca church, and you will have free time to visit the wonders of Taormina such as the Greek theater, Cathedral and Palazzo Corvaja.
At the end of this Classic Taormina & Castelmola , our expert drivers will bring you back to the original pick up point.

Isola Bella
First of all we will stop at the viewpont just bove the Isola Bella, called Belvedere, offering breath-taking views. It is the ideal location to admire and take shots of the coastline and the fantastic Isola Bella.
Castelmola
As our journey continues, we drive to the charming medieval village of Castelmola. This sleepy town is perched precariously above Taormina. A stroll around is a must, with its cool medieval alleyways and picturesque piazza commanding views of the whole countryside, Mount Etna and the Ionic coastline.

5.00Eduardo was amazing. He picked us up exactly on time and exactly where the email said to meet him. He was very knowledgeable about the area and provided insight into local sights. We had ample time to explore areas on our own and he was flexible about pickup times. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

5.00When first contacting Excursions Sicily Irina, immediately replied with information that we had requested and was very helpful and flexible in order to meet our needs. We ended up booking our tour with this company due to her professionalism and her flexibility and truely listen to our requests. Each and every time we contacted Irina she replied within 24 hours and addressed any concerns. Our driver and guide was Eduardo, who was extremely professional, knowledgeable, outgoing and fun which in turn made our experience more than we expected. We had Private transfers from and to Palermo airport, tour to Agrigento (Valley of the Temples) & Archeological Museum of Agrigento & Scala dei Turchi, tour to Cefalù and Castelbuono, and a tour to Taormina and Mount Etna (Teatro Antico, Corso Umberto l, Villa Comunale, Piazza IX Aprile, Isola Bella) over a 5 day period. Eduardo gave us great restaurant recommendations as well. We would highly recommend requesting Eduardo as your driver and Excursions Sicily.

5.00Antonio was amazing. He took such good care of my family and I. He was extremely friendly and easy to talk to and gave us great information. He answered all questions and gave us local recommendations. He was very patient with my family when we were running late getting back to the vehicle. The tour itself was absolutely incredible. We will definitely be looking to book again next time we visit. Thank you for giving my family and I the best experience!!

5.00Sicily was our favorite stop on our 11 night Mediterranean cruise, not only due to the spectacular sights we saw but the excellent service provided by our tour Davide. He was waiting at the port when we arrived, welcomed us warmly and his engaging personality set the tone for the day. His pride of country was evident as he shared history, culture, and little stories about we passed by and saw. He made numerous stops for us to take in the incredible views, allowed us enough time to explore each stop and suggested restaurants and recommendations for our time in Taormina. We absolutely loved this charming town and had the best meal of our trip at one of the restaurants he recommended. We left Sicily knowing we would love to come back, thanks in part to the memorable day Davide afforded us. Highly recommend!!

5.00Our driver/guide David was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable and personable. Made the tour seem like family was showing us there home. Wouldn’t miss this experience especially if you are on a cruise and only have one day to see Sicily Well worth it. Enjoy

5.00Irina was great to work with. Tours were fully booked, but she offered to get my husband and I where we wanted to go, anyway. We were picked up by Giuseppe, who drove us to Taormina, and was very nice. Eduardo drove us to Castelmora and then back to our ship. All were very nice and professional. I would not hesitate to use Excursions Sicily again in the future.

5.00Eduardo was a super driver guide. The whole day was enchanting with a visit to Modica to sample (and buy!) some delicious chocolate, Montalbano's house and the beautiful beach, the Maffia boss' house and the police station. Internal visits (6 euros) of the Maffia boss' house and police station were superb. Thank you Eduardo for a fabulous day. Driving was smooth, the car was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Very many thanks. Communication on booking (Irina) was also excellent. I can highly recommend this tour company.
