This was a great way to see the Zoo. It included the ferry ride over to the zoo and back. The times for the ferry for flexible so you could stay as long was you want.

We were in Sydney for the women’s football World Cup and just had one day to enjoy the city so decided to do this and so glad we did! We aren’t really keen on the captive nature of zoos in general, but this one is an exception. Super quick ferry ride across the harbour, which also gave us some fun time to view the beautiful region from the water. Nice walk up from the ferry terminal into the zoo (you can also get a shuttle if you’re mobility isn’t up to the walk.) While it was busy, we never felt rushed and had a chance to see everything we wanted to (it was a weekday in fairness, assuming the weekends are rammed full.) The zoo is of course, internationally renowned for its conservation measures, and it was evident in the spotless conditions for visitors and animals alike. We opted for the additional koala and dingo interactions, which while a little pricey were definitely worth it once. Had a lovely lunch sitting outside. All in all a great day!

I would highly recommend not using captain cook cruises. They are extremely unorganized and incapable of providing a decent tour. We waited in line to board the ferry only to be told that the li e they told us to wait in was wrong and the actual ferry left and we had to wait 30 more minutes for the next one. Very unorganized

This attraction is an enjoyable day out for the kids and adults alike! The ferry going to the zoo is so convenient. It is best to spend the whole day here so you can see all the sections of the zoo and enjoy the presentations throughout the day. Be sure to check the weather before going especially during change of seasons. Taronga zoo is a must-see attraction when visiting Sydney 💗
