5.00It was a great tour. It was my first private tour and I wish all of them could be like that. Ivan was knowledgeable and it was feat to have a discussion about the Roman ruins. He answered every question we had. We had extra time before the olive oil tasting. Instead of just waiting around, Ivan took us to Rey’s and we saw an amazing house (with all of its original 1800s features) and the birthplace of Gaudi. Walking among the olive trees was amazing for this city girl. We were able to watch part of the process. It was very interesting. Best part was buying the olive oil and olives for home.

5.00Our tour guide Ivan spoke English very well and was informative as well as entertaining throughout the tour of Tarragona. He is very knowledgeable about Spanish, Catalonian & Barcelona history.

5.00My trip to Spain was greatly enhanced by our wonderful tour guide Ivan. His knowledge of the early history of Tarragosa and Resu was a highlight of my trip, beginning with the stop for a view of the aqueduct, then the ancient ruins scattered throughout the city as well as the unexpected wedding at the Cathedral. This was followed by a visit to an olive plantation that was both fun and educational. Definitely a new experience for me. I would highly recommend this trip with Ivan.
Excellent Day Trip Option Outside the Frenzy of Barcelona

5.00Since I had a party of four, I arranged a private tour with Ivan. I was in Barcelona celebrating my Aunt’s 75th Birthday, and I wanted a unique experience that balanced the frenzy of Barcelona. Ivan did a fantastic job. He had a very comfortable vehicle, spoke great English and provided historical context all through the tour. This tour takes you on a drive through the Cava and wine region, which is a beautiful, while taking in some unique stops along the way. We continued onward to experience some smaller towns, like Tarragona and Reus that had incredible historical relevance to the history of Catalonia. Ivan provided historical information on the entire excursion. It rained some, so he had to quickly adjust which he did well. We had a wonderful experience at the Olive farm, touring the Olive oil plant and experienced fresh Olive oil right out of the press. The owners at Moli d Oli Mas Montseny were very friendly and gave us an up-close tour and unique experience. I can’t recommend this day trip enough as an alternate yet super enjoyable experience just outside Barcelona.

5.00Ivan is very friendly, responsible, and speaks multiple local languages. These qualities help him guide tourists with ease. He took us to Tarragona and Reus. When it rained, he provided some umbrellas and smoothly adjusted plans so we could enjoy many sites.
