5.00My husband and I had the pleasure of joining a food tour with Patrick, and it was truly a highlight of our trip. From the start, we appreciated his energy and warm personality as he guided us through the city. His passion for both the local cuisine and the history of his hometown really stood out and made the experience even more engaging. It was clear that Patrick is well known and well liked at the places we visited, which added a special, authentic touch to the tour. We especially enjoyed learning about the city’s history, and he was more than happy to answer all of our random questions along the way. I highly recommend spending time with Patrick—his enthusiasm is contagious, and he brings the city’s rich history and food culture to life in a memorable way.

5.00Artur is the best certified tour guide. He gave a wonderful introduction to the city of Bruges and its best sweets and savory treats. That evening Artur joined an elite group of certified tour guides. His young daughter joined him for the graduation. He’s a special man and you will enjoy his tour.

5.00This was a great tour of the city by a Bruges native that provided insight into history, the people, and the food and drink. The chocolate, waffles, fries, beer, cheese, and sausages were a bonus. I highly recommend this private tour.

5.00We had an absolutely amazing time on The 10 Tastings of Bruges With Locals: Private Food Tour. Arthur was incredible—he took us to some of the best spots in the city, guided us right to the front of lines, and made sure we experienced so many delicious tastes of this beautiful village. His knowledge of Bruges’ history added so much depth to the tour, and his passion for the city really showed. We loved every single minute and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommend!

5.00Hugo was a wonderful guide with an extensive knowledge of beautiful Bruges, historical and personal including his own memories growing up in this city. We loved every minute walking the cobbled streets, sampling the best of the tastes of Bruges and seeing awesome architecture and historic stories that go all the way back to Rome and bring Bruges alive. A perfect way to begin our time in this charming romantic city!

3.00Martin was very pleasant and we enjoyed our afternoon with him. Looking at what we paid though, we didn’t feel we got value for money at all. There definitely weren’t 10 tastings as as advertised (unless you count each sample of beer on the sampling tray at the brewery!)

Maybe look around for a different food tour, but go on this if you can’t find another

3.00Overall we enjoyed our tour with Jay, but we were rather disappointed in the food offerings. First of all they listed 10 tastings, and we only had seven, two of which were just beer. Jay was affable, and engaging, but we certainly did not feel like we had a full food/historical tour like we have done in many other cities. While we wouldn’t recommend avoiding this tour, we also cannot recommend going on it.
Ask for Martin and come hungry!

5.00What a delightful experience all around! Our guide Martin was engaging, kind, personable, knowledgeable, accommodating and all around fabulous. We learned so much during our time with him and tasted the best Belgian treats and sips in town. This was a highlight of our time in Belgium and we can’t recommend Martin or this tour enough!
