The venue is not wheelchair accessible.

Infants are allowed; however, the venue is not stroller accessible; a secure place is set aside for their storage. Therefore, we advise visitors with very young kids to bring an infant harness.

This is an open ticket; you can use your entry ticket on any day within the opening hours of the museum.

The entry ticket shall be valid for one-time entry only; no re-entry is allowed.

The Knights of Malta museum is open every day from Monday to Sunday, all year round, excluding Christmas Day (25th of December).

When you arrive at the theatre, you are kindly requested to check in at the reception area of the venue.

The opening hours are subject to change; if you wish to confirm the opening hours of the theatre during your stay in Malta, please contact the service provider.

Be sure that your headset is working before the introduction video. If not, go out to the lobby and get another one. I had to share an earpiece with my spouse as mine did not work. Thankfully they fixed it before walking through the scenes. If you don’t hear an explanation at one of the scenes, shift in closer, the sensor is not picking up your location.

Mdina is beautiful, a journey into another era. Having a 3-year-old boy we tried to see Mdina taking a ride in the buggy. The tour was very hasty and the guide spoke both English and Italian poorly, giving some information that was difficult to understand and monosyllables. The price on the sign said €30 for 35 minutes, after 25 minutes we were already back (and the guide has repeatedly urged us to hurry in the visit of the church), and when we asked for explanations the gentleman got nervous and guided the horse through the traffic of the roundabout to complete the 10 minutes left... the horse got nervous and we all risked falling out of the buggy. In short, an experience that I would not repeat for numerous reasons. I advise those who want to do it to first check the language in which the guide speaks and to point out to the guide what time he must return.

Nice staff. I was alone in the museum and had a private tour, so to speak. First film, then waxwork cabinet
Interesting exhibition with audio guide explaining each exposed scene. Price more than fair.

The first part with the video was long and maybe a little too celebratory. The "wax museum" part, with audio explanation of every single scene instead was beautiful and very interesting.
A great walk through of the subject.

The exhibits enhanced the story very well and the way the history was presented was excellent. I would recommend this to anyone.
