  Our guide Peter took us to places in Kyoto that we would not have found by ourselves. There are so many amazing temples & gardens to see and explore but many are super crowded with people seeking an Instagram moment. Peter knew exactly where to go and how to get there via public transportation and he helped us bridge the language gap. No crowds, no stress, just an amazing day!

  We booked the personalized tour as our time in Kyoto was limited and we wanted to see as much as possible while there. Jose David was our guide for the day and he did a wonderful job with adapting the itinerary according to our wish list. He is also so knowledgeable- and shared historic facts to enhance our experience. The day flew by and we would highly recommend this personalized day tour to anyone interested in experiencing the beauty of Kyoto.

  I thoroughly enjoyed an entertaining, private, full-day tour of Kyoto with my guide, Laura. I can't recommend her highly enough. Laura customized the day according to my interests in Kyoto history and was incredibly knowledgeable. Every question I threw at her was answered in detail and with proficiency. On top of that our conversation was free flowing and genuine. A memorable experience that I highly recommend.

  Really great guide. Showed us some beautiful temples and Shrines. My favorite Temple was at the top of a busy street. The Tory gates were really beautiful experience as well.

  We had Jose as our guide and he was awesome throughout our entire day. He’s very knowledgeable on all things Japan and we really appreciate he’s responsiveness to our questions. 100% the money was well spent and I would recommend anyone to tour Kyoto with Jose.
