Very interesting excursion in a place full of charm; I do not recommend it to those with walking or muscle problems because the access is a bit 'impervious. No problem for those like me who are claustrophobic. In Gesturi the horses have only been heard, but the place is still a splendid example of Sardinian Mediterranean scrub. Federica is an attentive and caring guide as well as a great driver!

This year was my second adventure in Sardinia. The first adventure was amazing and I learned so much about Southern Sardinia and all of it's wonders. This year was more important because I had my Wife & four Children with me and I wanted them to see what I was making such a fuss about. Raffaela was even more incredible than last time and my whole Family fell in love with her. She was so informative hen we went to Nora explaining the history and the many uses of the area. Su Naraxi the Nuraghe site near Barumini as incredible, you could feel the presence of the Ancients!! We had an awesome lunch at an Agroturismo!! A stop at my Favorite Winery (Argiolas) as a must stop. But The Most incredible day was our Day in Orroli in the Blue Zone. The night before the Tour Raffaela old me that she fond out that there was a Parade & a Festival and would we be interested in attending? YES!!! Without getting to deep into the story, My DNA showed hat at least part of my Family is from this area. Long story short, I met some of my Birth Family for the first time in my life!! Not only was Raffaella a tour guide, she was also one of our interpreters!! SOOOO A Great Big THANK YOU to Raffaela and the Arasole crew for an Awesome Adventure!! Marco

In addition to the excavation in Barumini, we also visited the adjacent museum, church and nearby national park. The surroundings are beautiful, the excavation is very interesting to see. The guides knew a lot about all the sights and the island itself. They are rightly proud of Sardinia! It was nice to be shown around in a small group (4 people).
