Your skydiving adventure starts at Skydive Latvia’s dropzone near Limbaži, about an hour from Riga. After arrival, you’ll meet your instructor and take part in a short safety briefing to learn the basics of the jump. Then you’ll put on your jumpsuit, harness, and goggles and board the Pilatus Porter aircraft. During the 15-minute climb to 4,000 meters, enjoy panoramic views of Latvia’s forests, lakes, and the Baltic Sea. When the door opens, you and your instructor will jump together for about 60 seconds of freefall before the parachute opens. The descent under canopy lasts around 5–7 minutes, giving you time to take in the peaceful scenery before landing. The whole experience takes around two to three hours including briefing and flight. All gear and training are included, and an optional video and photo package can be added on the day.
