IMPORTANT NOTE: All drivers are required to have one of the following valid documents in order to participate in this tour: 1) International Drivers Permits, 2) SOFA Driving License for US Forces Japan, or 3) Japanese Driver's License
The International Driving Permits that Japan will allow is the 1949 Geneva Act. Each country has its own assigned agent (usually a major roadside service company) that is permitted to issue a 1949 Geneva Act format Driving Permit. There are no agents that will issue a 1949 Geneva Act International Driving Permit over the Internet. The correct format for the permit must be a booklet and must have the word 1949 Geneva, or the date of the actual convention, September 19, 1949 on the cover of the permit.
We conduct alcohol checks on our customers before the driving tour. In the unlikely event that you are found to be under the influence of alcohol or intoxicated, you may not be able to participate in the tour. Please be careful when coming. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note that we cannot offer refunds if you are unable to use the service on the day due to regulations regarding international driver's licenses (such as license requirements in member countries of the Geneva Convention). 5.00A little scary driving on the busy streets of Tokyo at first but our guide (Fire) was great and we were a small group which helped ease the initial nerves and it was so much fun! An experience you can't have anywhere else in the world as afar as I'm aware. Well worth the cost. Make sure you take an international drivers permit.

5.00Drove w my 20 year old daughter, and we were lucky to get a tour just the two of us w our brilliant guide. Fantastic way to see much of the city, very safe driving - even when going at 50km/h - guide kept checking if everything was OK. And a lot of fun!! Can only recommend

5.00We had our booking rearranged due to weather (typhoon) the week before, they managed to fit us in before we go home. Couldn’t get the 19:30 night one, but the 17:30 time worked well for us. When we arrived we were greeted at reception, Nobu was our guide and showed us through the controls. We were lucky that it was just the 2 of us and the guide, so it was very personal. We went high speed through a tunnel section, stopped and Tokyo tower for photo, and shibuya crossing twice. Nobu is a fun chap and has great personality. Thanks for the experience, I would recommend.
