My partner, friend, and I did this following a cruise. There were 2 additional guests, all of us primarily English speaking, though I speak a little Japanese. We had 2 geisha performers who answered all questions, poured drinks, danced, and played geisha games. Both geisha had pocket translators and were extremely talented - not only at conversation and dance - but also making people feel included. The experience was worth EVERY PENNY. the only tricky thing is finding the venue. It’s in a gold building facing the street near McDonalds. The only other complaint I have is it starts directly at the start time - meaning the elevator and escalator won’t get you to the 6th floor where the show occurs even a few minutes early.

What an incredible experience this was something better than I expected to be, they are so much fun and smart. Made me laugh and feel included at all times even not knowing their language they did everything to try to communicate and fill me up with fun facts and good information about the culture. Nana is the best and the sweetest girl. Very simple, I loved it.

The geisha themselves were great and tried to entertain everyone in any way they could. Unfortunately, we felt like we were ignored for most of the show as they spent most of their time talking to the Japanese men that were there and the teenage American men that were studying abroad. The games they played were fun and some of the food was delicious. My husband and I paid for the highest level package for food and we were not able to eat half of it either because it was too fishy for us or too exotic. We only ordered coca colas for our drinks and somehow that was not included in the meal price we paid for. For the price we paid for the upgraded meal we couldn’t believe that a soft drink was not at least included.
