Alaska beaches are certainly different than beaches in the lower 48. Much more scenic and beautiful with the back drop of snow covered peaks. Dylan was knowledgeable about Seward, answered all my questions during the hike, and even took pictures, at my request, to provide me with photographic memories of my visit.

Our hike was guided by Dylan, who is a local and has good knowledge and experience about traversing the trails and survival skills including bears. The trail is a beautiful one and well forested and ends up in a gorgeous beach by the Bay overlooking tall Glacial mountains. It is fairly easy with a bit of elevation gain and descent to the beach and we could do it even though we are not experienced hikers. We had a great time with Dylan as he explained the flora and told us about his experience with fauna! Would love to do more hikes with him in the future!
