We require the correct passport number of each participant (the one used on the tour day) for ticket booking. A passport is required during the tour; will be denied without one.
Tiananmen Square may close unannounced due to government activities, in which case it will be skipped. No refunds as the square is free
Chinese citizens (including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) need to book this tour 7 days in advance. By regulation, please submit Chinese name & ID number when reserving and present the ID on the tour day to join the group
Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
Please be advised that visiting the four attractions in one day involves a lot of walking, so please prepare accordingly.
If the security check queue at Tian’anmen Square exceeds one hour, we suggest either driving around the square or skipping the on-foot visit. Your guide will still explain the history of the square. Due to the tight schedule of the day, we focus on visiting the paid attractions; no refund will be provided for skipping Tian’anmen Square as it is a free attraction.

This private tour offers three convenient departure options for your choice: your downtown hotel, Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK), or Daxing International Airport. Please select your departure point in advance, and our professional guide and driver will meet you on time to start your one-day efficient exploration of Beijing’s top landmarks.
Tiananmen Square
After being picked up by your guide and driver, the first stop of your itinerary is Tian’anmen Square. Note that Tian’anmen Square is not only a famous tourist attraction but also a political service center, with extremely strict security checks that can take 1 to 3 hours. Since our itinerary is tight, if you encounter a long queue for security checks, we suggest skipping the on-foot visit and taking a drive around the square to save time. When you visit Tian’anmen Square (either on foot or by car), your guide will show you the iconic buildings from the outside and explain their historical background.

5.00Our 2 day trip to Beijing was very well organized. Right from airport pick up all the way to airport drop off. Jimmy our guide was very knowledgeable and kept us on track all through. All in all I would definitely recommend this company for any of your future travels.

5.00Tiananmen Square was great, a historical place with lots of ancient significance. Our tour guide Miko was great, he explained the history in great detail. It was a hot summer day and the tour guide served us with ice cold water, super sweet. After the square and forbidden city we went to a restaurant to taste authentic local food, I liked it. We took full day tour so later in the afternoon our guide took us to Summer palace, in my opinion it is an OK place.
Overall the tour was great. Thanks Miko.Discover Beijing...Vivienne Rocked!

5.00My work colleague and I literally landed in Beijing, picked the most highly rated tour company that had availability and were picked up as advertised the next morning. Discover Beijing made it easy and we really appreciated it. Without a doubt, the highlight of the tour was our guide, Vivienne! She showed up on time and simply asked us what we wanted to do and see. Within 15 minutes we were driving into the city seeing three major sites: the Summer Palace, Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. To wrap up the day, she took us to her favorite dumpling restaurant (just outside of the Forbidden City) and helped us navigate the subway system as we called it a day. She was equal parts, knowledgeable about the sites/history, adventurous and most importantly very open to adapting plans to help us maximize our stay in the city. A fantastic day in Beijing, I would recommend Discover Beijing and ask for Vivienne as your guide.

5.00We were picked up on time at our hotel. The car was clean and newer. Our tour guide spoke perfect English, was very knowledgeable and freely shared his knowledge with us. The restaurant he took us to for lunch served the tastiest food we had our entire time in Beijing.

5.00Our small group tour ended up being a private tour because it was the weekend. Alice our tour guide was absolutely wonderful, she showed us all we wanted to see and took time to take great pictures of us. Tiananmen Square was pretty cool and the forbidden city kept going and going. Alice kept us out of the crowds and showed us the nooks and crannies. Also we had a great lunch, the best here so far and we loved the summer palace!

5.00We had a great time! KoKo was a very knowledgeable tour guide and she has happy to answer all of our questions. Be warned though, it was very hot, humid and crowded. There are drinks available for sell, at very low prices, in the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace, but you may want to carry some with you. And dress appropriately! I can't remember the last time I sweat so much. Our tour was in early July.
