Tunel Ferroviario del Tinoco

The tinco tunnel is located 15 kilometers from san José de Maipo, has a length of 493 meters, It was built between 1911 and 1914 to be used as a railway, is considered a historical monument. This stop is optional by the guide, due to the cleanliness and security of the place.

We spent a wonderful morning, we met beautiful places, quiet group and most importantly, tour very well conducted by the tour guide Victor making lively and pleasant. Exceptional picnic closes with gold key.

My worst experience in Chile and by far. We were sold a dream with a visit to a spa, picnic and a superb view of the snow-capped mountains surrounding a lake. We had access to the thermal baths, but the place was not so beautiful with these pvc pipes connecting the basins. Then, surprise, we do not go to Embalse del yeso but lunch (names included), then go through a chocolate shop and land in a campsite... It will be in this campsite that our “picnic” will take place, just after lunch, and where we will stay 2 hours to watch a demonstration of Chilean dance, at the level of a provincial campsite. In short, run from this agency!

The experience becomes perfect when you have a tour guide who knows how to conduct the tour. The place visited is not of the most fantastic, but it became perfect because Victor was an exceptional guide.
It was all excellent! I highly recommend.
