This excursion will delight us with the variety and contrast of the landscapes that we will visit, we leave Salta by route 9 for the town of Purmamarca from where, after a technical stop, we will start climbing the Lipan Hill that will allow us to reach after 25 km of the 2500 mts of height above sea level at 4200 mts amid imposing landscapes, and from there descend to the majestic Salinas Grandes, where we will be in contact with the salt workers, and teach us about their trade. Back we can appreciate the native fauna composed of llamas and vicuñas. Once back in Purmamarca, where we will have lunch, we will visit Los Colorados imposing formation located behind the 7 colors Hill. After touring the town we start the return to Salta through it.

This was a great day trip! Abel, our guide, was very knowledgeable and shared both indigenous and colonial history about the area. He was really helpful at each stop, translating for those of us that didn't speak Spanish to help us get into the salt flats, get pictures taken, etc. He also was very attentive to everyone - making sure anybody feeling off from the altitude had a cold drink and he gave me extra tissues from his own bag! Abel and Mauro, the driver, made it a wonderful experience for us.

An excursion that despite along the way did not make me heavy. It was fulfilled as contracted. The guide, Cecilia, a charmer, gave us a lot of information and was professional and patient. Lucky to have done it with her. The driver tb was very friendly. They were trying to get us to the sites before anyone else so they could see everything well and without crowds. I recommend this tour and the supplier..

Travel alone, and really good combi tour. I loved how the Guide (Estefi) explained everything during the tour. You can see his training and wisdom. I was amazed. Driver Sergio a genius, super good driver, prudent and good musicalizer. I recommend 10 points
