My husband, sister, brother in law and I had a wonderful experience on this tour! The train trip takes you through beautiful Alps. There are two stops in historic medieval villages that are lovely. We hiked up to the top of a citadel and the view was incredible! Carmela was a fantastic guide. She was knowledgeable giving us interesting history. Carmela was also fun and worked to make sure everyone was having a good time. We are 68 and 70 years old. There is hiking in both villages that was challenging for me, but I did the climb up to citadel! I chose to just enjoy the second village. While most of the group participated in second hike, a small group of us enjoyed the city square-shopping and enjoying a drink at an outdoor cafe. It was a great day!

The tour was a great experience, our guide Caramela was extremely professional, helpful and had great knowledge of all the places she took us to. We left at 7, the first village we went to was Annot, the trek was nice (please do wear good hiking shoes as the hike does get rough & travel light). The next place we went to was Entrevaux, another great experience & the hime here is steep but the path is clear & well built. The lunch options were great and very well cooked. Our Highlight apart from the scenery was Caramela. We did a lot of tours while we were in Nice this one was one of the stand outs so do definitely give it a try.

Carmela made this experience AMAZING! She was so knowledgeable about all of the places we went to, and the views were GORGEOUS! The food we ate for lunch in Annot was incredible and the group was awesome. The experience would not have been the same if we did this on our own, we learned so much history and culture about everything from Carmela that made the experience that much better. The views were so nice I also proposed! Worth every penny!

The full-day train journey from Nice through the Alps was an unforgettable experience! Stunning mountain views, charming villages, and dramatic landscapes made every moment feel magical. The train was comfortable, the ride was smooth, and the scenery was out of this world. A perfect way to see the natural beauty of the region — highly recommended! Our guide, Cyril, was truly exceptional! Not only was he knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the region, but he also surprised us with delicious homemade pastries he baked himself — a thoughtful and heart-warming gesture that made the experience feel incredibly personal and special.
