This is a totally different activity in Ushuaia, since we are the only company that has a mountain refuge on the margins of the Emerald Lagoon, with salamander, which allows you to spend a pleasant moment in nature enjoying comfort and enjoying lunch gourmet. Our guides are selected specifically for these activities, so that they can accompany the rhythm of the passengers and thus make this an enjoyable activity.(MODIFY)

I experienced one of the most challenging crossings in Ushuaia: a 21 km trek through forests, glacier valleys and icy lagoons until reaching the imposing Ojo del Albino Glacier, in the middle of the Andes Mountains. The adventure begins with the transfer from your accommodation to the starting point, we perform the check-up of the technical team and a short security talk before starting the hike. The tour enters the Fueguin forest following nature trails until reaching the Emerald Lagoon. We reached our mountain refuge to gather strength and continued. From there begins the most demanding section of the route: the technical ascent to the glacier. Equipped with crampons and walking sticks, the participants advance between steep slopes, surrounded by charming scenery Arriving at the Ojo del Albino Glacier, the group enjoys a well-deserved rest and lunch in front of the imposing glacier amphitheater, a unique natural setting. The return takes place along the same path, accompanied by the guides who guarantee the safety and pace of the group. The activity ends with the transfer back to Ushuaia

5.00A great experience all around. This tour offers the opportunity to experience a wide variety of the geography and micro-biomes of Tierra del Fuego in a single day. While the pace is not very relaxed given the distance which must be covered in the course of the day and the limited daylight as winter begins, our guide Ezequiel was very attentive to the needs and abilities of our small group. The pace was not exhausting and there were plenty of opportunities to take photos. The equipment provided as part of the tour was appropriate to the activity and made the experience safer and easier to accomplish. Ezequiel gave good guidance for how and when to use the equipment and noted additional points of interest including a sighting of a swimming beaver around dawn and a detour to an ice cave on the return path. I appreciated that there was an emphasis on the safety and comfort of the group which can be a challenge with adventure type activities requiring some degree of physicality. I also enjoyed the homemade pumpkin soup which is nice to have on top of a windy mountain.

5.00I did this trek and the experience was amazing from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organized and the care in every detail was very noticeable. The guide (Mauro) was excellent: very professional, attentive and with a lot of good energy, which made the tour even more enjoyable. We always feel accompanied and safe. The scenery and the tour exceeded my expectations. Super recommended for those looking for adventure, nature and a well-guided experience!
