  Excellent guide/driver (Panicos) and at a relaxing pace. We were two couples so it was a very private tour. Interesting insights into Cypriot winemaking and the local grape varieties that at least I wasn't familiar with. Many of the wines were really good. The lunch was tradtional but plentiful and very tasty. If you have a day to spend away from the beach and are interested in wine and food, I can highly recommend this tour.

  As a family we had such a fabulous day out Helena was a great tour guide . (Not forgetting the pick up and drop off driver) Helena is Knowledgeable friendly showing the culture food and wine of rural Cyprus Helena kept my 11 yr old granddaughter involved in everything The tour was very well time managed not rushed , lunch was a true Cypriot feast and so much ,every stop on the tour was full of interest. Thank you We highly recommend these tours

  We were a small group of six people in total. On this particular tour, we happened to be all women – which seemed to be a bit unusual. I was travelling solo and really appreciated that our guide, Demi, made an effort to help us connect and talk to each other. Our first stop was a wine tasting at a beautiful vineyard with stunning views of the mountains. I really enjoyed two of the wines and brought them home – but there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything, which I appreciated. Next, we visited a charming woman who has been making halloumi for over 40 years, supplying it to the island’s gourmet food lovers (or at least that’s how I understood it – only available by pre-order). It was honestly the best halloumi I’ve ever tasted! I had no idea halloumi could be that delicious – perfectly salty and slightly tangy. At our meze lunch, I got to try several traditional Cypriot dishes like Kleftiko and Afelia (use lots of lemon and salt on top – sooo tasty!). I really liked how dried coriander was used in Afelia. We also visited a bee farm, which was another highlight – I got to taste different types of honey and noticed the unique flavours in each one. I ended up buying thyme honey (something I’ve picked up on other Mediterranean islands before and ran out of long ago). It was also really special to get a glimpse into the world of bees. Everyone knows how important they are for our ecosystem. I was glad we made a short stop in Lefkara, as I’d been curious about the village. I realised I could’ve easily spent an entire day there browsing and buying handmade jewellery from local artisans – something for a future visit, definitely. Overall, I’m truly happy with this tour! A big thank you to Demi and the rest of the group for an unforgettable experience. I guess the length of this review says it all – there were just so many wonderful moments to take in. Honestly, I could have kept writing.

  

  

  

• Waste your money tour

  We booked this food and wine tour from Aiya Napa and where expecting to visit different wine yards, as it said it would be in the booking information. Instead we got a mountain village tour with mainly animal tour. Although we like strait cats and goats and donkeys, we did not want to pay 250€ for that. We got a little jar of Ok wine for Lunch and a one wine tasting in the end of the day with too warm and ridicoulusly small portions of wine. The worst part was going into the most boring museum of bees and brodery for an hour. We where a group of 6 and everyone of us thought they had booked a wineyard experience. Totally a waste of money.

  Wow, a perfect tour to discover the authentic rural Cyprus! We visited a local winery and offered some great tastings, strolled a charming village up in the mountains with great views and little shops, ate delicious and authentic food, however the highlight of the whole trip was our local guide - Helena! It was a pure pleasure leaning about the history of the island, the culture, and many more interesting facts. Helena is the most professional guide, taking us through the paths and stories of the rural parts of Cyprus, upgrading the whole trip to a 10 out of 10 experience!

  It was a great way to see the local community in the mountains. And getting to experience the local honey, olives and wine was really nice. The guide had plenty knowledge and did great. 10/10

  The tour to the Trodos mountains was a highlight of my holiday. Our guide Helena made sure that our small group of 7 people felt comfortable from the beginning. Lunch in a traditional tavern which is also frequented by locals was excellent. All stops on the route had a very special charm, which was further enhanced by Helena's stories.

  It was nice day with many different activities. Everything went smoothly without waiting and our quide had a lot of information about local history and food/drinks. We recommendate!

  Very nice trip with a good guide. We tasted a lot of good wines and licorices. Also had an amazing lunch in a very nice little town.
