The Tropical Rain forest Explorer tour is for the casual explorer who dreams of being fully submerged in the lush flora and fauna of what St Kitts has to offer. We start off at one of the oldest and historically wealthiest sugar plantation on the island of St. Kitts. Just a short walk away we will then be fully blanketed by the thick tropical canopy that hugs the winding Wing field River which is filled with volcanic rocks and occasional flowing fresh spring water. With this tour your senses will be soothed by the cool humid tropical air on your skin, your mind relaxed with the sound of the sweeping wind atop the canopy, your vision filled with flora and fauna and all this with a knowledgeable local guide.

We are so happy that we got to experience this wonderful adventure! My wife and I were the only ones to book the tour this day, but our guide happily took just the two of us on an incredible hike through the Saint Kitts rainforest. His knowledge of the local area was amazing and you could see his love of his island and the rainforest. This is a family owned business by two brothers, and they do a fantastic job of treating you to a great time. About halfway through our hike, we experienced a real rainforest rainstorm! We were completely drenched from head to toe by the time we got back, but still had such a fun time! The hike is pretty easy, not wheelchair accessible, but believe that most anyone would be able to do this. Highly recommended!

My sister and I did the tour with Rashid?(sorry if I spelt your name wrong) He was very informative, stopped regularly and gave us historical information about the place, environment, the plant, trees etc. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island! For a casual tour of the rainforest, this was perfect. Just a nice, comfortable walk through relaxing forest. We learned a lot from a knowledgeable guide. Perfect for us.

Rashidi was extremely knowledgeable about rainforest flora and fauna and their traditional medicinal uses. He blends in the history of the local plantation and how it sourced needed water from a mountain river through the rainforest, pointing out centuries old remains of the water operation throughout our hike. Fascinating! The pride and passion he feels for his island and for the rainforest are evident. A half-day very well spent.

Rashidi gave my cousin and me a fascinating and educational tour of the rain forest on St. Kitts. We saw birds and butterflies but only heard the monkeys who are way too shy to appear for a photo op. He has extensive knowledge of the native flora and we soaked up all the stories. One major surprise was seeing an actual hermit crab rather far from the water. Rashidi assured us he would make it down there when he needed a bigger shell. He really knows his stuff and is a very pleasant man to spend the day with.
Exploring the rainforest with Rashidi was a highlight of our trip!

My mom and I really enjoyed this tour. It was beautiful and very calming to be immersed in nature! We had a great time exploring and learning about the healing qualities of many plants in the rainforest. Rashidi was extremely kind and knowledgeable. He even took us to pick up some local food before returning to our hotel. This tour was a highlight of our trip!

We were greeted by Rashidi and then taken to the Rainforest drive through. It was an amazing drive with wonderful views and loads of local facts and story tails. We claimed ( in a 4WD)two of the Kittitian mountains. Which was a challenging drive for our driver but worth every minute. He knew the road/ track like the back of his hand. At the top we also got some local Raison role to taste. Delicious 😋 this trip is well worth doing when you can’t join the walking tour. Thank you Rashidi for a very pleasant experience
