In this 8 hours private tour, you will explore the southwest of Mauritius including a visit to the Green Dormant Volcano named Trou Aux Cerfs which is a highly popular attraction. Next, you will stop at Mare Aux Vacoas reservoir.
Afterward, head to Maconde viewpoint to see the panoramic stunning view of the sea. Next, head to Twenty Three Colored Earth which is unique because of its multi-colored sand. Then continue to Chamouny waterfall which is undoubtedly the beautiful single-drop waterfall. Next, head to the Bois Cherri Tea Factory to learn about the production and plantation.
Later, you will enjoy a Mauritian 3-course lunch & head to Rhumerie De St Aubin to visit the rum distillery & rum making. Then, continue to Gorge Viewpoint to see the panoramic unparalleled beauty of the deep dense forest & its valley.
Afterward, head to Alexandra Fall to live a unique experience with nature & its waterfalls. Finally, stop at Grand Bassin to see the gigantic statue of Lord Shiva

Trou aux Cerfs
Begin your 7-8 hours southwest scenic tour with a hotel pick-up anywhere in Mauritius. You will meet & be greeted by our certified guide and after boarding to your comfortable vehicle, then set off for your first stop. You'll be heading to Trou Aux Cerfs which is one of the famous natural tourist attractions in Mauritius. The dormant volcanic crater is around 605 meters above sea level, with a diameter of 350 meters & a depth of around 100 meters. Unlike the typical volcanic features, Trou aux Cerfs’ crater is surrounded by a vast area of lush forest consisting of indigenous plant species and some giant green pine trees. It is believed that the Trou aux Cerfs erupted once and has remained dormant for the last 700 000 years; experts believe that there is a potential chance for it to become active again. Definitely, one of the main highlights is the 360-degree view of the town, Curepipe & the majestic view of Rempart Mountain, Trois Mamelles, and the Port-Louis- Moka mountain range.
Afterward, head to Mare Aux Vacoas reservoir which has the honor of being the largest reservoir on the island with a capacity of almost 26 million cubic meters and is simultaneously a rather popular stop for tourists visiting the south of the island. Although nothing as fancy as the other attractions in Mauritius, Mare aux Vacoas is a gem hidden between lines of thick forests. It is the perfect place to spend a relaxing few minutes away from the usual hustle and bustle of the country. The reservoir even offers a rather amazing view worth several clicks.

4.00It’s a interesting trip. However they drag it out you could do it in half the time . They Resturant you go to for lunch is fantastic with amazing views. 7 colours of the earth is interesting. Early start for this trip.

5.00We had such a great time on this tour with Manav, our driver/tour guide! He was super friendly and informative and he built our tour schedule around our priorities. Mauritius is so beautiful and we’re so glad that we got to see so much of it. He took us to Vallé Advenature Park where we did a quad tour and 7 zip lines (separately charged), which was beautiful and exciting. Other than the zip lining, we especially enjoyed the rhum tasting and the super tasty Mauritian lunch. Lastly, we really appreciate that at the request of my husband, he took us to a vanilla plantation where we got a short tour and bought a bunch of vanilla to take home. We highly recommend this excursion!

5.00Great value for money, especially if you ar staying in the north of the island. Alone the drive and tickets pay off. Daren was a great driver and guide. He explained eveything well but also let us in peace if he notices that we are tired or want to enjoy the drive. The Black river national park is really stunning. We loved Casela as well (we booked the double quad drive but they didn't let me drive it, and also refused to give a refund, so that wasn't the best customer service). Tea tasting was so fun, great view on the tea plantage. Rhumerie was a short visit since we don't drink alcohol. Gris Gris beach was amazing, the view is brath-taking. The lunch was good, very fast service, we didn't have to wait at all. All in all, we would totally recommend. We were done at 16:00 which is perfect since we could still chill at the pool in hotel after the tour.

5.00Our guide was a little worried that the rain would ruin our experience because the colors don't get as strong during rain. We were lucky and just made it out of the rain and got to enjoy these colors of lava. Imagine how nature has colors! Can warmly recommend a visit.

5.00We did the trip with Radhika and we loved it so much! She is such a great guide and told us a lot about Mauritius and the culture. If we will visit Mauritius again we would love to do another trip with her. She was so friendly and drove really safe - we feel very well with her
