What to wear:
- Dress to get wet! We recommend a swimsuit or quick-drying shorts/t-shirt.
- One of the most important aspects of 'what to wear' rafting is footwear. All of our guests are required to wear shoes that strap or tie securely to their feet. Water shoes, a sturdy sandal with a heel strap, or tennis shoes work well for rafting. Flip-flops, crocs, or bare feet are NOT allowed.
Whitewater rafting is an active, outdoor, adventure sport.
All participants must be in good health and weigh no more than 250 lbs.

5.00This was one of the highlights of our family trip. Rafting down the Truckee river was both scenic and exciting. Our guide made our experience even better. Kai was friendly, fun and knew his stuff. We will definitely be back for another adventure.

5.00First time whitewater rafting and it was so much fun! The guides were excellent, the photographer got amazing action shots (additional cost but reasonable and totally worth it!) and we were even provided with wetsuits (a huge help since it was a chilly morning and we got soaked from the waist down). Gorgeous views of course and plenty of time in calm water before you hit the real deal at the end (listen to your guide and work as a team!). Loved it!

5.00Jon was a great guide! Lovely trip. Get there at 9, it was a waste of time bring early. Intro and safety talk started after 9:20. Can’t bring anything but a water bottle that has a loop with you. Don’t bring even dry bags.

5.00Diesel was our guide and he was great; told us about the history of the area and really knew how to raft. He gave us instructions on what we needed to do and it was a fabulous experience. Highly recommend this rafting company. Sorry no pics cause couldn’t take phones or anything that could get wet and you do get wet! We wore water shoes and other folks were strap on sandals or sneakers, but you really do need to keep your toes covered because you have to stick your foot into the raft and you’ll get bruised if you wear flip-flops or some sort of sandal and flip-flops are not recommended for that reason; would suggest you wear a swimsuit in case you want to jump in ( they stopped several times on the trip in common water so people could jump in and swim to cool off ) or at least wear clothes that dry very easily and wear sunscreen if desired because the sun does beat down pretty well on a sunny day. They do have a photographer that takes pics if you want to purchase the pics on a thumb drive. You do need to leave all your belongings in the car or in the case of us we used an Uber and left our stuff in the office.. so just be prepared that you can’t take anything with you on the raft.
